Pfister Ashfield Toilet Tissue Holder, Tuscan Bronze

Love this T.P holder. It has a nice bronze finish with gold highlights--expensive looking. The bar swivels so T.P is easy to install. The bend at the end of the bar keeps the T.P. roll from sliding off.

We've had this for about a month now, and we're very pleased. We purchased our home as a spec house, and didn't really have a lot of cash to spend on accessories, so we purchased mostly low-end items at the DYI stores. When the TP holder in our master bathroom started falling apart I looked around and decided to try this one because it looked like a quality item and (like the previous holder) required only a single mounting point. It is much more solid than our previous holder, and is working quite well.I read the issues that others are having with the pivot screw coming loose, and I will keep an eye on that, but so far we've not seen that problem. If it loosens, I will just add a drop of loctite blue and it shouldn't give us any more trouble after that.

During our bathroom remodel back in June 2012, we wanted to keep consistent with the Ashfield Tuscan Bronze line of products. We bought TP holders as well as Hand-Towel holders. These were very easy to install and were VERY sturdy for about 8 months. Once this time passed, it appeared that the motion joint between the base and holder assembly would become very loose. At this juncture, there is no screw that I can find to tighten as it seems to be some type of sealed ball-joint mechanism.Regardless, after making calls to Pfister, they have replaced two TP holders and one hand-towel holder, with my only cost being for shipping (at $7.95 each time). So, kudos to Pfister customer service.Longer-term, it would appear that they need to redesign the joint assembly. Unless you use these very infrequently, I can't imagine them lasting more than a year before needing to be replaced.Update (8/28/2013):After further inspection, but not much help from Pfister.. I pulled the holder apart at the joint and lo-and-behold, there is a screw that you can tighten to stop the arm from being wobbly. It would have been great if the Pfister rep could tell me this before they sent me 3-4 items and cost me $7.95 in shipping for each item. Now that I found the solution, it's just like any other device of this nature and I'm going to boost the stars given to 4 from 3.

I cannot believe someone didn't think of this sooner, we always had the toilet paper holder sitting with an empty and the new roll sitting on the back of the tank, until now. Now the holder is always with a roll of toiler paper because changing it is such a breeze. (Not that changing a typical holder is any sort of big deal, but to my family it was the impossible task!!) Now they easliy slip off the old roll and put on the new!! Well worth the upgrade!!

If you're looking for a high quality ORB TP holder, stop looking and just click the add to cart button. I know this one is a little more expensive than some others out there, but it's well built, feels solid and looks great. We tried some others and ended up taking them all back. Installs with 2 screws and is very solid.

Love the look and the design. Easy to add a roll and it doesn't slide off when used. Matches my oil rubbed bronze faucets beautifully.
