Great book for kids or adults

Easy to understand. Good book and easy plans to follow. We also purchased wacky birdhouse because we wanted to mix things up in our yard. With everything straight it gets boring

The book does what it does well but I was hoping for a little more depth from the book in construction of bird houses.

I love the Book: Easy to Build Bird Houses, It has so many wonderful ideas and how to projects, with good instruction on how to do them and making it easy.

my husband has made a bunch of log cabin bird houses and even a two story one every one wants one he loves making them and the book has been a great help

Easy directions

This is an older book so the bird houses are in olderstyles. The book does have a decent amount of information on tools and techniques for beginners to build birdhouses.

I have to admit I was really disappointed with this book. Don't judge a book by its cover the old expression goes and I did. The book is actually in black and white and does not feature coloured photo's and diagrames as shown on the cover. More disappointing is the lack of images to follow a long with. If you're looking to build a bird house then this book offers no inspiration.The book is really for the U.S. market so you may find it difficult to follew. It talks about American garden birds with American wood supplies so you won't feel as if the book is targeted for you, just the US diy'er.
