Rawhide Brand Natural Chips, 32-Ounce, Bag/Decal

These are great, quality beefhide chips! Our furry daughters love them. Since we have to large dogs we wanted nice, thick chews, these are not only good for their teeth and gums, but it also keeps the girls busy and happy. There were very few discolorations and even though they're large, there's enough of a size variety to give the smaller ones to our smaller daughter, who's 80 lbs. I was hesitant to purchase chews online due to negative reviews that complain about size and quality, but these are absolutely perfect. I've ordered them twice already and will purchase them again. Also, the price isn't too bad.

I had been buying my dog a similar rawhide in peanut butter flavor for the last several months that he loved. All of a sudden I went to go order another bag last week and I saw that the price had doubled! I decided to look around and stumbled upon these. The reviews were decent and the price was right so I decided to give it a shot, but I was a little weary since my dog was used to the flavored rawhides. These are awesome! Each strip is basically 2 rawhides thick (I don't want to say glued together but that's basically what it looks like). The other brand I bought my dog would finish in 5-15 minutes. These routinely take him 25+ minutes. He gets really excited when I give him these as well so the flavor hasn't been an issue. This is a great buy and I think I may order these from now on. More bang for your buck.

Great product. Don't worry about Brazil Rawhide. That is where rawhide has been coming from years. A lot of good beef comes from Brazil. Since the cattle are from Brazil, that is where they process the hides. Most rawhide and leather is not made in the US because it uses a lot of water and is causes a lot of pollution. So the slaughterhouses in the US actually send the hides over to China for processing. So between the weeks the hides take to get to China, and China's general lack of safety standards, you really want to avoid Chinese rawhide. US rawhide of course should be fine, but you should not have to worry about Brazilian Rawhide. I have found this brand to be even better than the US versions I have tried (these are much more consistent in size and thickness).

They are made by a very trusting company in my eyes. They make several different products that I do use on a daily basis for a lot of my exotic animals. These are a routine 2 pound bag of good size rawhide chips. They are "regular" flavor and made in Brazil - NOT china. Brazil does have a lot more standards and regulations than China by any means. I can't remember if it says it in its "description" but on each bag with a unique track/lot # - you can track ex actually what ranch/farm that batch/cow was from. All of my six does love them. They are a little pricy for what you get bug it's worth it to me!

70lb German Shepherd loves them but they're a bit thin compared to the insanely expensive ones at pet stores and walmart, so sometimes she gets ahead of herself has to hoarsely hack a surprisingly large chunk back up, but that's ok, hacked up chunks chew nice too as far as I can tell from where I sit. Buying a second bag.UPDATE after buying lots more: Title changed to "The Best." and the thickness varies by bag, but are consistent in a bag. Some bags are very thick with fewer hides. My only complaint is that you can't choose 32oz of thick or thin. Would really prefer to buy the thick ones. 70# german shepherd tears through all of them but you can see the crazed extra excitement when an occasional 1/4" thick hide appears.

Both of my dogs - a 6 year old lab mix and a 1.5 year old mastiff mix - love these. They last longer than most chews. The dogs don't swallow huge chunks of these whole like they do with other chews...I'm not sure why.There were around 35 - 40 pieces in the last bag I bought (not exactly certain how many I gave them before I counted), so they're pretty economical.The biggest plus is that they don't upset my lab's stomach. Most of the rawhide I've tried gave him the kind of gas that makes everybody nearby suffer right along with him - just toxic - but these don't. Highly recommended.

my 30 lb dog thanks that she's a big dog, and she's a chewer. One of these will last her about 15 or 20 minutes, but given how many you get for the price, I think that's a great value. I used to give her the Himalayan yak chews for 60 + pound dogs, and they'd last her 3 or 4 hours. Unfortunately those things are quite pricey.Haven't noticed any pieces or staining in the carpet, which is also much appreciated. I can't comment on taste, as I've never had one myself. My dog loves them, but I've never given her anything she didn't love.

Not sure about recommending these. They are a good quality, natural product; however, these might be a safer product for a small dog who will gnaw at them over time. A large dog like mine, who is a powerful chewer, will consume the whole chip in a few minutes. I used to give her one each day after her morning walk, but I frequently found her gagging and having to bring a half-swallowed chunk back up, and she had periodic bouts of vomiting that may or may not have been related. Since I stopped giving her these, no more of these problems. I should add that my vet said he'd never seen an incident of choking or intestinal blockage caused by rawhide consumption. So, make up your own mind. If you do give your dog rawhide, though, these are a good buy, and are sturdy and thick, unlike some brands.

Certains morceaux sont super, mais d'autres sont très minces. D'autres semblent gonflés et mon chien les mangent en moins de 1 minute.
