Q: Will this plant survive outside over Ohio winter & return in Spring?

The minimum temperature is 45's- 50's. If it is lower than this, it will not survive. If you plant them in ground, you can dig it out before winter. If they are in pot, they can be indoor in winter.

Q: I live in colorado. if i plant in the ground will it come back year after year? when is the best time to plant?

They will not survive if the temperature is below 40's or 45's. If you plant them in ground now, they will grow fast. They need a lot of water out door. You then dig them out and plant them in pot for winter. They can be out door again next spring. You should cut their stalks and freeze them for your use. Leaves are also good for marinading, stirred-fry, tea or mosquito peeler.

Q: What is the lighting and watering requirements?

They need light and water! Give them as much light as you can. Lemongrass loves sun. They will grow in shade just not as agressively. Try not to let them get dry. Good luck Darren

I have planted 2 plants in a really really large container. Individually they grow very tall and full, so 2 really give you a great look
