Perfect
The placement of this thing on the 4.0 is in a bad location. When I put on my oil filter I actually broke it so, order this right away, it fit perfectly.I'm happy at the speed of which it was delivered my engine was leaking oil like crazy on the way home I had to buy a quart of oil and toss it in, after a makeshift plug was inserted. By the way I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 two wheel drive

Jeep family approved
My old Jeep Cherokee with 236k miles was telling me I had 80# of oil pressure. I knew it was a lie so I ordered this little jewel. It's easy to install, just be careful not to break it putting it in. I think the older Jeeps squirt all the oil out of the engine if this baby gets cracked. Not sure if it's true of this one as I didn't break it. This rugged machine is my DD and I haven't had any trouble with the oil pressure gauge since I bought this. That makes me happy.

Easy and inexpensive replacement
Seems to work perfectly in my 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo w 4.0. Old part must have been cracked, it was leaking oil out of the connector area. Replaced with this one and no more leaking and pressure gauge still reads accurately.

A Oil Sensor Socket can be purchased at most any auto parts store.Buy one.Make your life easier.It is worth it.I can't believe that the seller doesn't try and bundle them together...

Defective sensor
It just happened that the one i received was defective. Is what makes it bad is that it is in a horrible spot on a V8 Magnum powered Cherokee and it had to be done twice. It was not even worth returning so i purchased one from Napa.

Another quality sensor from SMP
Old oil pressure sensor was intermittently dropping to 0 oil pressure on my Jeep XJ 4.0. This fixed that issue.Sensor is well constructed at a good price.

Perfect fit!!
Highly recommend if your oil pressure gauge isn't working,, worked perfect for my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 liter, did it easily during an oil change.

Not a whole lot I can say about this except that it works. I installed it 3 months ago and it has been going strong since. I will update if there are any problems in the future.
