GE Appliances WD19X25187 Dishwasher Drain Pump Kit

Very Easy to install and is working great. The provided pigtail made it easy to connect to where the old pump was connected. Very quiet would recommend.

Replaced the original. Easy to install on GE Dishwasher.Does seem to be slightly different than the original part.

Major Appliances only are expected to last five years on average. 5 years and 6 months, post purchase, my GE Dishwasher started making a horrible grinding noise while running through the cleaning cycle. I first thought it was the piranha food disposer that the unit is equipped with. But after pulling the front lock plate while running the unit I determined it was the evacuation pump. This part fixed the problem. Install was straight forward, but the pump replacement part is not identical to the old (cheaper quality). I had to bend the pump mount rod on the dishwasher to make it fit correctly into the new part. Also the new pump does not have the metal noise reduction piece as the old pump did. And no, you can’t swap it out due to different pump configuration. The hose clamps sent were useless as well. But as the title says, cheaper than buying a new dishwasher.

I used the repair clinic dot com to find the correct part number and then looked it up on Amazon. Like most things from Amazon, it was here in a day or two. It came with a filter and adapter, but I didn't seem to need the adapter. Some people might need it. It also came with 5 or 6 clamps. I only needed the two for the drain pump. Installation was very simple, yet I am experienced with DIY home repair. You don't need any special tools, just make sure to watch a few videos on YouTube to get the basics. Very happy with the replacement. It seems more quiet than the original pump on my GE dishwasher.

Bought this to replace the drain pump on a GE dishwasher. Works great and have had no issues with it so far. Just make sure it matches your model number. Can be installed without removing the dishwasher if you have the correct tools but would be much easier to install if you pull out the dishwasher and tilt it back some for better access.

We are very easy on our dishwasher and rinse of food real well so food isnt going into the drain pump. Dispite that, this replacement pump only lasted a year and a half before dying. When installing it I could tell this replacement was no where near the quality of the dishwashers original pump that lasted 8 years (which even 8yrs is poor in my book, previous GE lasted 20yrs without a single problem). I guess GE is selling subpar replacement parts to force people to replace appliances every 5-10yrs instead of repair them.

The original pump is very heavy made compared to this replacement. Original lasted 3 years, don't expect much from this lightweight replacement, despite the premium price. Easy to replace for homeowner with screwdriver and basic hand tools. Purchased a GE pump hoping it would be better made. No it doesn't look exactly like the original pump, but it does work. Seems touch louder than original.
