Criticism of this pie tin reflects ignorance.
I have been baking pies (family and professional) for about sixty years. Much of the criticism of this tin reflects plain ignorance. Size: It is normal and usual to measure pie pans and many other baking "containers" from outside rim to outside rim. Describing it as a seven-inch pan is correct, not trickery. That is the traditional industry standard. Sorry so many of you didn't know that. Rust: well of course it rusts. Why do you think steel is coated with tin? Any time you scratch it (eg when slicing through the crust with a sharp knife), steel will be exposed, and it will rust there. ALL tin-coated steel pans do that. Deal with it! Treat it as gently as you reasonably can; do not expect it to sit in a humid dishwasher without reacting. (A little bit of rust won't hurt you, anyway! Think of it as a delicious way to add iron to your diet.) This is an excellent quality product from a reputable company. Don't blame them because you didn't know the realities. Is it a good value? Hmmm, it's a really good product. Sure wish I'd found it at a thrift shop, though! ps. It baked a perfect lemon meringue pie for Christmas dinner. It's a useful size for 2 super-sized servings or 4 more reasonable ones. Conveniently, it holds exactly half the quantity of a 9-inch pie pan, which makes adapting recipes easy. Candidly, I do wish someone made a 7 1/2 - inch pan, which might be even more suitable for our two-person household, but... Bottom line: I'm glad I bought it and would do so again.

Great Price
I needed a smaller set, so I got these they did come fast and are sturdy they also did get rust spots when I washed them for the first time it wiped right off but still makes me wonder how the long term hold up will be.

Not exactly what I was looking for
They rusted after washing. I was all of my pans before using. I used the pans and washed for the second time. I have a commercial kitchen so everything is hand washed and hung to dry. They were placed at an angle so no water could stay under the lip. Well that didn’t help and ended up rusting on the bottom.

You get what you pay for. Great size for personal pie!
I have had baking "roasting" tins like this before. I love the size, it is only used during blackberry season here in my neck of woods and is excellent to make one personal pie. I made a few of them. They do NOT clean well at all...get out the Brillo! ( Brillo is junky these days too lol). Pies came out great! I made a few to cryo vac & freeze for winter. So over all happy for once a year price.

Nice size but they rust
Love the size of these but they are very expensive and don't put them in water, they quickly rust. I quickly clean them with as little water as possible and dry well before storing them. Too bad they didn't rust. That's the only fault!
