tech21Evo Check Case for Galaxy Note8 - Smokey/Black

I must say I am very picky with cases. Although my Note 8 is an "old" phone by some I am very happy with it and it works for me. I also want to keep my phone protected but, not turn it into a brick. I have bought no less than 2 dozen cases since I bought my Note and this has to be one of the best cases I have bought! It was packaged very well in its own box and when I removed it and placed it on my Note it snapped onto the phone with a tight fit. The grip is fantastic! It makes risking less of a chance. It adds very little bulk. I don't plan on trying the 10 foot drop test on my Note but, the case feels solid enough to survive a drop. The screen is somewhat exposed like all of the cases I have tried but, I always use a tempered glass screen protector on it to try and lessen the risk of damaging the display. All in all only time will tell but, my first impression is it is a great case.

I spent hours researching cases to protect my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. This case blew me away. It is so simple, but the design is super protective. I watched 3rd party videos of phones in this case being dropped from high distances with absolutely no damage. Since having this case, I have dropped my phone dozens of times, in every which way possible. Never even a scratch of damage. The case is easy to install and remove at anytime without damaging the phone. I carry my phone with me everywhere. Even doing yard work. Couldn't have asked for a better case. And it's super cheap. I bought it for around $3 a year ago. And at the time of writing this, it's available for around $4. Can't go wrong with this case. It seems this company has a very solid rep, but I've only used it on my Note 8, however I will be buying them for all future phones.

Bought this for my mother, who has the older Galaxy Note8.I've always been a fan of Tech21 and have purchased them for all of my phones.This case is sleek looking and provides a nice grip. It also provides really good protection when the phone is dropped.

High quality case! Great fit, nice slim profile. Buttons have a good, tactile feel. I really like how the top and bottom of the case is slightly thicker material to help with drop protection without being obtrusive or impeding function. Zero issues getting my S-Pen in and out constantly. I also bought the Spigen Slim Liquid Armor case, the Evo Tactical is far superior. The Spigen fit is sloppy, the cutout for the S-Pen covers the pen partially and it's nowhere near as grippy as the Evo Tactical. Yes the Evo Tactical costs quite a bit more, but the costs are obviously justified. Highly recommend this case!

Always liked and had these tech 21 cases on my any phone I've had. Easy to put on, not bulky and durable

My wife bought this same case when Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was first launched nearly 2 years ago, and we paid A LOT more for it at the T-Mobile store. We have the same phones, and I always liked her case, but I was not comfortable spending another $40-$50 for my case, so I went with a more utilitarian/bulky (cheap!) case. Now that these phones are no longer the latest and greatest, I was able to buy this one at a very good price on Amazon. It feels much better in the hand with the slim design. I've dropped it from about 3 feet half a dozen times in last few months and never a problem. I do have a separate glass screen protector by Zagg, and case does not interfere with that. Great product and a great value (now).

Item arrived on time. Packaging was good with no damage. The item is gorgeous. Fits the galaxy s-5 active perfectly. The buttons work great.This will fit any s-5 because they designed buttons to "adapt" to the s-5 from any carrier.I really like this case. It is lightweight but very sturdy. Very modern design. Great clean look.

Tech 21 has to be one of my favorite brands of phone case. They're slim, and lightweight, but somehow insanely protective and sturdy. I bought one with my Samsung Note about 4 or 5 years ago, and it only just now "broke". (The side piece with the volume buttons broke but it was still totally functional, just loose.) So I decided to buy a new one. I was ready to spend up to $30 to get the same case I had, so I was amazed to see it listed for only $2.

Apart from being a very case I got it for my son's phone who is 5 years old but he's unable to unlock the phone as the side volume and power are now very hard to use.
