Sinclair® Collectibles (A Schiffer Book for Collectors)

This is a very beautiful book. I remember the old Sinclair dinosaur (I still have theplastic piggy bank, the blow-up was left in Nashville). The book shows old signs andpumps, as well as the history of the company. Also good information (for instance,for the first time in 50 years, I know what the logo H-C stood for). So for oneinterested in the history of "old full-service stations, or someone looking for abook on American automotive history, this is highly recommended.

Lots of great pictures and information in this older publication (1997). I especially liked the inclusion of pictures of the stations themselves through the years. Price ranges on items are pretty broad, as you would expect, and probably outdated on some items. Should be considered a value "guide" and not a comprehensive price list. I was quite happy with it.

Nothing to dislike

This is a beautiful book, but we were disappointed that it didn't include the Sinclair items my husband had collected. So, apparently it's incomplete.
