Pebeo 777603 30 x 30 cm Square Wooden Frame, Beige

I have bought my panels from hobby craft in the past and been happy with them. They're lovely and smooth,but I chose these pebeo ones because they are 2" bigger. Unfortunately, they don't feel the same quality and there is a rough finish. I have found loose splinters while painting, and when pulling to removed pulled off long threads of the wood.If you buy these, I suggest atleast 2 coats of gesso before painting on them. I can paint straight onto the ones from hobbycraft (the brand is PLAID) and they turn out great. For that reason, i won't be buying these again.

this was brought to help my good lady with her crocheting,and the board was drilled at specific uniform places to allow pegs to be inserted to stretch the pieces she made, brownie points for me !!!!!

Great - I had two similar to this before but the frame part was about 1 1/2" high - consequently I had to use a LOT of modelling paste to fill the frame up and made a total mess of the picture - as this frame part is only about 1/2" I think my next attempt at using modelling clay will be far more successful.

Used this as I was starting out wood burning for the first time. I did a portrait as a gift. It worked great, and took a wood stain very nicely. WI'll buy again.
