Gatco 1508 Floor Standing S Style Towel Holder, Bronze

We are very happy with this purchase which replaced a similar product we used for years. This one is a different brand and so mu h better! It should last a long time. We hang 2 bath towels abd 2 washcloths on it.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy base, slender enough for our small bathroom, works great in the space.

Not a lot to say. Was easy to put together. Looks good. Sturdy. Towels hang nicely on it.

This well-designed towel rack is a great investment. In addition to being solid and sturdy, it is also very attractive. The S-design makes excellent use for hanging and drying with minimal space. The height is high enough to hang large damp bath towels without tipping over the rack, as the base is very solid. When we have multiple guests (like a family of 4), the rack is great as an extra, and sits out of the way at the end of the hallway. This is a quality product that is very functional without taking up a lot of space.

I am giving this 4 stars because it's made really well and looks nice. However, I'm not sure it's a good fit for my bathroom.We just did a DIY remodel on a small bathroom. I have limited wall space to hang towels. I thought the freestanding option would give me flexibility, but it doesn't. There is really only one place in the floor this can sit without being in the way of everything else.The problem is a combination of my space being small and this towel stand. I thought this would tuck nicely against the wall and be out of the way. It doesn't. The unit it much wider than I expected and it sits out from the wall a lot - like more than the length of my foot.The towel rack is really heavy, which is nice because it won't fall over with two wet bath towels. I like the style and how it looks. It sits right under my window, so it's not tall, but it's tall enough that a bath towel folded over does not touch the floor. I just really wish it was smaller like I'd hoped. I will probably end up having to find some way to put the towels mounted to the wall and this was fairly expensive to not want to use it.

This perfectly complements my Georgian bathroom. It is sturdy, attractive, and functional. I am so glad that I found it.

We bought one of these towel holders about 5 years ago and it was perfect for the rather tight space by the shower. It began to wobble after much heavy usage recently so I was happy to see that it is still offered. The holder arrived on time, was still easy to assemble and we're happy with the results. We feel that we got our 5 years of value out of the original purchase so we're fine investing in it again.

We moved into a home with no towel racks in three bathrooms. I had already purchased another standing towel rack from ROSS that was much too short. Returned it. Then I was ready to order one online from Bed/Bath that was very expensive. After I read the reviews for the Gatco, I ordered one in Satin Nickel. It is solid, well-finished, and plenty tall enough for our generous towels. After a few days, I ordered three more! Two are standing in one bathroom that has all-tiled walls and no towel racks. They take up less room than you would imagine. Another is in a large bathroom where there is one decorative towel rack far from the shower. The last one, in bronze, will be in the guest bedroom, matching that furniture, so that guests do not have to mix their towels with others in the bathroom they will be using. The finish on the three Satin Nickels are great. I hestitated about the Chrome after reading one poor review about it. Am still waiting to see the Bronze finish. Solid, tall and priced right! I could not find them in my home centers that sold other Gatco products.

Beautiful tower holder. I bought the chrome one. It arrived well packaged and was very easy to assemble. It does not take to much space in the bathroom and the height is perfect for large bath towel. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good looking and sturdy, would recommend to anyone after freestanding towel holder. Very easy assembly and suits 2 x towels.

Love it. Fits perfectly and is very solid. Bought for drying towels it is heavy and doesn't tip.
