Sperry Men's Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe

The first time I owned a pair of the same exact Sperrys they lasted me 5 years and would have lasted more if I did not accidentally burn them in the oven after trying to dry them. These shoes just feel a tad bit inferior in comfortability and quality. But they look as good and feel very comparable.

There is a reason these are rated so highly. Will definitely be buying again. Have to break them in first though as they are initially not the most comfortable but once they conform to your foot they are excellent. Will see how they hold up with time.

I bought a pair of the Oatmeal color at a store a few years back and loved them. They were $100 but worth it.I actually wanted a darker color, but they didn’t have my size.I have other Sperry’s and love them.So when I saw the dark Amaretto in my size on Amazon for $50… I snapped them up.By comparison, I’d say I got my money’s worth, but these definitely feel like $50 shoes, not the $100 I paid for my last pair.I’m not knocking them, I mean they are half the price, but they feel like they will last half as long. Lighter. The sole is different.But, for a $50 boat shoe in all leather and a gorgeous color… they are worth it. Fit as expected. I only used the last pair as a casual wear shoe… no excessively long walks etc. I expect I’ll get a few years out of these if I do the same.Gave 4 stars just because, the quality is noticeably different than the outmeal pair I had in this same shoe. But these days most things aren’t made to last a lifetime. In this case though, the price fits the quality.

These shoes are much stiffer than the glove leather versions. Although a little less comfortable, they feel like they are better for daily use. In any case, these are definitely worth the price!

Bought these as a replacement for my previous, much worn, and much-loved 12 year-old pair that are just starting to fall apart. A bargain price, and look and fit is good. Here's to the next 12 years!

These are great shoes, but instead of ordered 8.5, I received 9.5.But to get the correct one would have been too much hassle
