Supergirl DC Comics Cape Juniors T-Shirt (X-Large, Blue)

The cut is very flattering, but the sizing is small. I usually wear a misses size M in shirts (large, for very fitted t-shirts), but I bought an XL because costume shirts of this nature tend to be quite short & tight (I am using it to wear while giving a speech about the dangers of trying to be Supermom, and I did not want to look like I was trying to look like teenager/skin tight/sexy). It fits just about perfectly, so it might not work for someone who normally wears a L or XL. If so, it will definitely cling to any curve or roll (which may be just what you want if using it for fun costuming!). I am not very busty, but If I was, it would be snug and definitely draw attention to that feature. What I love most is the length! So hard to get t-shirts that are long enough. I have long torso and this one comes down to the bottom of the zipper on my jeans, which I appreciate. It is also long enough to overlap my jeans at the back when i sit down. The printed belt hits at exactly the perfect spot (i feared it would be too high). The quality is surprisingly good for this type of thing. The screen-printing is not cheap looking and is nice & bright. The red "S" on the chest is sparkly, but not the kind that sheds glitter (I will cold wash and hang dry). The cape is shorter than it appears in the picture. Wish it reached all the way to the hem, but it does not. Likely it is same size cape for every size shirt, and since I got an XL, the cape is shorter than the shirt (only barely reaches to small of back). Neckline is a flattering "V" (fairly wide, but not extremely low), which is also hard to find.

This shirt looks great! It is good quality for the price. However I have to return because it was way too small. I am normally a size large in Women's and can normally wear an XL in juniors size at target. I ordered an XL and it was skin tight, not wearable. It's a shame cause that is the largest size they offer.

I am 5'6" tall and weigh about 165 lbs. I typically wear a small or medium in women's tops. I purchased this shirt in XL because I knew that Juniors Size would be smaller. I also read the reviews and was well informed from other customers. The shirt does stretch quite a bit, so I probably would have been able to uncomfortably gotten away with a medium and shown everyone all my extra curves.The fabric is heavy and the seams appear to be well constructed. The Velcro on the cape is a good quality and the so is the length of the cape.The length of the shirt was perfect for me. I love my shirts to be longer, almost like a tunic, and this shirt was down well over my pants. I had no worries about my belly possibly poking out as I reached to write on the board in front of my students. There are also no outlines of a feminine figure on this shirt like most of the others for sale right now, which is why I really wanted this one.

Soo glad i took the advice of others on here! I'm 5'0, 115 lbs and wear a medium size women's cotton shirt. I was planning to get a large but decided to get an XL instead just to be on the safe side. It is Just a teeny tiny bit lose on the top maybe bc i have a small bust and it's snug where the belt is around my waist but still, it fits perfectly for my figure! I haven't washed it yet so idk if it'll shrink but i love the quality and the length... nice and thick and Love the glitter "S". The cape is an awesome accessory! Anyway, Some say get a size or 2 up since it is labeled as a junior but I'd say, just get 2 sizes up from a normal women's cotton size shirt you would wear. :) you won't regret it!

I ordered this t-shirt last minute for a superhero run. Based on the reviews, I ordered a size XL since this was junior sizing. I'm 5'2 and 130lbs. I have a pretty long upper torso for a shorter person so it wasn't as long as some people commented. However the belt that's printed on is pretty low and may not be visible if you end up folding under the excess fabric - which can be easily done if too long and it'll stay put. The cape is super cute as it has the Superman logo printed on it. The fabric is not bad for the price. The chest area was a little baggy for me as I'm only a 34A but still comfortable without it looking horribly oversized.
