The Grandparent Gift Life Story Frame, Great-Grandma

Pictures don't come in the sizes of the squares I don't think so I had to trim and put white paper behind it and tape it on. The words are on the paper that comes with it so that's why I had to tape the pictures on the paper insert in order to keep the words. But the frame was in good condition and the gift recipients thought they were nice.

I used to work in a frame and art gallery, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this & saw the quality. The frame is sturdy and the mat well cut, although it is not acid free.The labels & faux photos are all on the same paper, but that doesn't matter. To display a photo, the best way is to actually tape from the top only (so gravity can do its job) to the back of the mat. I just set the paper insert aside until I had my photos lined up and secured & then lined up the label wording and put the frame backing together.We gave this to my parents (the grandma one and the grandpa one) to let them know about their first grandchild! The ultrasound photo will be swapped for a photo of them holding baby once s/he arrives.They loved it & I would order again! We actually used 4 different frames from this same company for our pregnancy reveals.

I was happy that this product for once is made in the USA. It wasn't absolutely perfect or flawless, but I was happy with the item. It was tricky finding/making pictures fit since they don't hold big pictures (and the subjects have to be close together), but the finished product is really beautiful, allowing you to make a keepsake for Grandma commemorating when she was young, when she was a new mother, and when she is a grandma.I used a baby picture, a picture of her as a mom with slightly older kids, and a picture of just the grandkids alone. My grandma really loved the finished product I sent her, so overall, provided the frame arrives unbroken and you can send it unbroken, it is a really nice gift idea.

Bought this for my mother as a mother's day gift. It was a great hit. My grandparents were professional picture framers so my mother is a second generation picture frame. It can be very stressful to present her with such a gift when she can pick at the little details. She loved it. Asked me if I had done the matting myself and how did I do it. (This coming from her because I am fine to pick up a cheap frame and do the matting myself and it being a very novice job) She had no complaints and it now hangs in the living room for all to see. I would buy this again and recommend to a friend.

My mom loved it. Didn’t realize the wording was with the example pics and that kind of sucked since I bent it down the middle but I was able to make it look okay since I wanted to use them.

The frame is beautifully made. Very hittable and a unique gift.

The frame is excellent and was delivered quickly without an issue as previous reviewers had mentioned. It was packaged very securely with LOTS of bubble wrap. That being said, it's frustrating that it's not a "photo mat" but it's actually the pictures shown exactly as on the screen on one very thin piece of paper (think the fake family page when you buy a frame at the store). I am still going to gift it, as I glued my photos on top but definitely doesn't hide the imperfections of my cut the way a "photo mat" would. For the price, not sure I'd recommend it but I absolutely know my father (the grandfather) will love it. I don't not recommend it but I wouldn't tell friends to buy it either unless they asked.

This is a great gift idea... And looks even better in person! It's a little bigger than you'd imagine, which is nice. The only thing is that it would have been so much better if the frame itself were divided as shown, but rather it's just a thick paper inside it that provides the layout. Also, each picture isn't sized, so getting the right fit for each have picture is a little tricky.

Super cute frame, unfortunately the stock image and the bottom “the beginning, the journey, a new chapter” are attached. So if you have a picture that is smaller the stock image pokes through.

Arrived damaged. Would otherwise be happy with the frame if it weren’t for the damage.

Got this for my grandma and she loved it.

This was a great way to surprise our grandparents with the news of our upcoming baby! We included a small note that stated "new picture coming in 2017" where the photo of our baby will go! Price is excellent compared to other stores too.
