Musician must have
I needed a plunger mute for a band I participate in and I needed it fast. This is a great mute and it came super fast.

Worth the money.
I know a lot of people just go to Home Depot and buy a toilet plunger and unscrew the stick, but I decided to go all-in and get a "real" deal. It does what is intended. Arrived quickly from Amazon and fits into my mute bag. Worth the cost and maybe nobody will accuse me of using a former toilet tool.

Good upgrade
As a professional trumpeter, I’ve used the same hardware store bought plunger for over 40 years … and loved it. But, I must say, this one has a special sound that I like even more and the little grip on the end makes it that much easier to articulate

No Stamp
Not having any Chicago Style Mutes Trumpet Plunger stamp leaves this product looking generic, like the bottom rubber portion of a plunger one might find in any kind of so-called "dollar store."I checked, after I thought I had received a generic substitute instead of the one pictured at Amazon, and there is, in fact, an explanation directly from the product provider for this situation in the Customer Questions portion: "When we updated the tooling to handle higher volumes, we removed the integrated stamp."I believe it will be helpful in the future for the stamp to be back on there. Otherwise, at a current price of $22.99, it does seem rather odd to receive something decidedly indistinct from generic rubber plungers.Aesthetics, proper product identification, and receiving items exactly as advertised and pictured are things I value very highly as a consumer, and so I can only encourage the producer to reinstate stamping on their plunger mutes.

The product does not appear as it does on the photos. It is just a plain black plunger. Disappointed that it is not the same as advertised.
