A real challenge if you have FAT fingers.
The size of these ships (the longest one is 6.5 inches long) made it a challenge to assemble. The directions only had pictures and nothing about rigging. So if you don't know anything about windjammer ships, this model kit is NOT for you. Also, the painting is quite small. At least the decals helped with the signs on the sails but like I mentioned earlier, the rigging makes the ships and if you don't know anything about shrouds or dead-eyes, these ships just won't measure up to what they can look like. I spent at least 40 hours putting them together including the painting.

Great for kitbashing
I bought this set of ships to make steampunk-flying-ships (you know with hot air balloons instead of sails) , so will be using for kit bashing. They seem sturdy and I like the variety for my purposes. Can't speak to their historical accuracy, but as a long time modeller, I think they are good beginner kits for the novice model maker. Would recommend.
