Digital Soldering Station with Pure Aluminum Soldering Stand, Tip Cleaning Wire and Sponge SSA51 (Black)

I bought this because someone I trust recommended it and sure enough it works well. I have only had it a short while but it heats up to temperature quickly maintains the temperature and has done a good job for me. The only question at this time is longevity and if it craps out I will come back and change the rating. This is a great soldering station

Happy to add my five-star review of this product. Record-breaking heat up time, probably under 10 seconds! Amazing. The holder alone is probably worth 25 bucks, and I've burned my share of table tops and other things due to the lack of a good holder. You can convert this over to Fahrenheit by holding the up or down arrow while you turn it on. Incredible heating range. Solid construction. No idea how long it will last, but I'm really impressed for the price. I've been putting off buying a good station for years, and I'm sure I've tossed the cost of many cheaper soldering irons, which didn't work as well. This one looks like a keeper. Recommended.

I just open this soldering iron and I was impressed with the temperature control until I got no heat whatsoever, very disappointed and my return option ended I was on vacation just got home opened it try to start solder something no luck, guess I’m out of LUCK

Look, this solder station is good quality and it functioned beautifully. That is until I knocked the iron off my desk and the element broke. I don't blame anyone but myself for the breakage and only wanted to order a replacement heater element. There is when I ran into a problem, at the time of this review there is no way to but replacement parts. If I could've ordered a replacement part I would be perfectly happy with my purchase. However, since there is no product support I cannot recommend this.

Iconsistant temperature control. Thermal recovery was very poor. Temperature falloff was extreme while solder. Overall a very poor station. Returned it promptly and purchased the Hakko FX951. You get what you pay for.

First, I am not very good at soldering. Being a drone developer, I had some soldering work from large current RC power connectors to small Arduino pins. I tried many products before, but none of them can do both job. Most soldering iron cannot keep up the heat to solder power connector in winter days, but this station can do both pretty well. The digital temperature control is a bless.

Heats up very fast, tends to go to sleep very quickly, but heats up so fast doesn't really matter. Well built. Soldering wand is replaceable, not that I have needed that yet of course.

This station works great and was reasonably priced. I always thought I was a terrible solderer until I upgraded to this station. Turns out using an old hobby store iron was my problem. Having a legit iron makes all the difference.
