High quality and light weight!
I was skeptical at first with the high price tag of these new Spektrum batteries from Horizon but I took a chance and was thoroughly impressed. I’ve been consistently using HRB lipos for the last three years but these Spektrum Smart batteries are true 30C and are significantly lighter than others. The built in chip is great to if you purchase the Smart Checker as well. You can program them to auto discharge after a given time period and they show little to no puffing after two dozen cycles. They price is steep but compared to the old E-Flite lipos these are superior in quality and better flight times. With the new smart systems hitting the market I’ll be investing in many more Spektrum lipos!

Great battery
Great lipos that perform well. A feel I can get another 30 seconds of flying. The SMART discharge is fantastic.

Spectrum batteries sold by Amazon
I ordered not one but two spectrum 6C batteries from Amazon for my new E flight Cessna 150 and hard to believe -but both batteries showed up dead. On the spectrum battery tester one showed 0 V the other showed .03 for about 10 seconds, and then zero. The charger could not recognize either battery and quite honestly it would’ve been unsafe and unstable to try and charge them. I sent them back. Not sure what happened but it quite possibly could be really old stock. I ordered directly from Horizon so I can be assured of not getting somebody else’s return or perhaps a knock off. Disappointing to say the least.
