Great for aspiring and experienced musicians
Arrived fast and in great shape. After a quick tuning, I was improvising decent sounding songs within seconds, and I'm just a beginner at guitar. This would be a great idea for a child or anyone interested in learning a musical instrument. A professional guitarist could have a lot of fun with this too, and due to its size, could make for a good travel instrument.For Lefties: I was under the impression that this would be easy to re-string and play left-handed, but the very last fret (knut?) is grooved specifically for right-handed stringing. So unless you want to remove it and re-glue it and hopefully have it sit as perfectly as it was out of the box, you'll be stuck playing it upside down or learning to play right-handed. Fortunately, it's such an easy instrument to play and handle, this isn't a big deal. Hendrix and Cobain did it on guitars (much harder), so I'd say it's still worth getting.

Extremely Happy!
I was getting worried because it was late, but considering we are in the middle of a Covid-19 pandemic it is to be expected. It arrived today and I couldn't be happier. It is very well packaged and surprisingly it was even in tune! I don't know how but that was fun. Very easy to play and looks extremely nice. I purchased the mahogany finish and glad that I did. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the packaging was super! I would definitely buy from Cosmos again :-)

Amazing little instrument
Very well made and fantastic sound. While the diatonic character of the instrument makes it easy to play, guitar players may also find it limiting, and it will take some time just tinkering around with it to learn what you can do and new chord shapes. It is absolutely fun to play either casually or as a serious instrument.

Nice instrument, just buy mandolin strings for it.
Very nice instrument. When you switch out the strings, don't buy the dulcimer strings by addario-they are a pain to tune. Instead get some mandolin strings, they will last you for two string changes, and they have the ball at the end.
