I really like the flavor and easy way to add protein to meals. I also enjoy it plain. It's pricey, especially when it's not prime but it did last me a while.

Carbs are too high and I wish it had more protein. Seems like it took forever to arrive. I wish it was like the sunflower mince in the UK. It tastes ok though.

This product was such a life saver when discovered. I was just taken off all kinds of food: dairy, eggs, meats, sugar, soy and gluten and so much more... It has added so much to my diet from homemade meat sauce to sprinkled over my favorite salads. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Last night I used the Sunflower Hache for the first time ever!! While soaking, it smelled a little weird, so I was hesitant.....but I did taste before I cooked it and it didn’t taste bad at all. Bland, but that’s ok. Used as taco filling and OMG!!!! It was soooo good! Even my non-vegan hubby and one of my non-vegan sons tried it and liked it!! It’s definitely an alternative that I will keep in my pantry!!

I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Maybe it’s the way I made it, but it turned out mushy and didn’t hold up in texture. It reminded me of TVP, which I’m also not a fan of—it just has that consistency that feels unnatural. I’m all for plant-based alternatives, but this one wasn’t satisfying and didn’t deliver. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I just made made a meatloaf with this product, my first use of it. I added tomatoes, spinach grated carrots,and onions to the basic recipe. I used oats rather than breadcrumbs and chickpea flour instead of eggs. this made a large loaf which has a very meaty taste and flavor. I do plan to increase my seasonings next time. I plan to use most of this in sandwiches. I will be ordering this again.

This is so easy to work with, and it was a mouthwatering mince for loaded nachos replete with cauli-cashew cheeze on top. I cannot stress how impressed I am with the texture and taste.. it is literally way better than what I remember ground beef tasting like. Not as gritty and gamey tasting. I threw it in the skillet with some taco sauce and spices for a quick dinner, and it was sensational. I'm usually happy with lentils, beans, or mushrooms but wanted to try something cleaner for my husband who really loves mock meats. Single ingredient, easy to rehydrate (let it sit in warm water for a few minutes then strain), and we were all hooked. I'm just bummed it is so pricey or I would legit want to use this regularly. This is awesome if you can afford it.
