I needed a drive controller for my older Craftsman mower, but that's discontinued (of course!). This one looked like it would fit and another reviewer said he'd used it on an old Craftsman successfully. Once I got the old one off (handles were broken and the tabs holding the cable into the mower body were way caked with old grass) it was a relatively easy install. Toughest part was making the final connection - use a good pair of needle-nose pliers and push the drive body (you'll figure it out) up to meet the cable connector. Now it runs better than ever (probably the old cable was stretched). The handle position is a little weird, but I'll get used to it. I just hope it lasts.

Would not fit my walk behind mower.

The speed control cable on my 2015 Husqvarna HU700 locked up and needed replacement. The part numbers appeared to have changed and I was not sure which cable to buy, so I ended up replacing the cable with a whole new Husqvarna Control.aw2.22+rg.bs.gen.bk/bk Part # 581950505. It was a perfect fit, and the mower now operates like new.

The self propel handle on my mower broke after a new cable was installed. In order to replace it, I had to order a unit which included the handles and another cable, which I didn't need. However, we found that the cable that came with the unit worked better, so had to destroy the other new cable to put this one one. It was not a quick and easy process for the cable. Replacement of the handle part was easy.

I bought this to replace the EZ Walk unit on my older Sears Craftsman mower and it worked as good as the original. Unfortunately I waited a little too long and the price went up on me while I was thinking it over.

The handle does not have the same internals as the OEM. Keep that in mind if you are wanting to use this for only some of the parts. The drive handle broke on our mower and this worked well to replace the drive handle and cable on our Husqvarna HU775H.

This control unit was meant for a Husqvarna mower but it replaced the Craftsman EZ Walk unit perfectly. The only tools needed were a screw driver and long nose pliers. Review the installation video on YouTube. Installed in 10 minutes!!!

L'écrou a l'intérieur tourne en même temps que l'ont ajuste le câble...Il a fallu que j'ouvre le boitier et mettre un chime entre le plastique et l'écrou dommage pour du neuf...
