Got this box and put a Type R SWR-10D2 in it and it will thump like you want it to. Bought 2 alpine amps to power it to 1000 RMS and Wow. This box bevels one way and they put a logo on it in the bottom right corner.. I prefer to put this box flat on it's back instead of facing the trunk so I kind of hate the logo because I want to mount my speaker reverse with the writing in the opposite direction. It just looks like an upside down emblem compared to the writing on my sub. Many people will however A:be less picky and B: mount the box the way it looks in the posted image on the right and have no problems. This box has epoxy on it and hasn't leaked air at all. The channel hookups haven't melted on me at 1000 rms @ 2 ohms so that end of the bargain worked out well. Nice looking box. The speaker fit like a glove in there and I seriously wish this box was here 10 years ago when I paid 4 times the money for something similar. I thought I was going to have to buy some epoxy or caulk and get this air tight but I was way wrong. I will have this box for quite sometime and if I need more bass I will get another box to match it!

Nice box No sub in yet Of course the plastic push button terminals are whack. The company should upgrade that part. It’s the exact size I need for my application And take that stupid metal badge off the lower corner everybody takes it off anyway anyways Price is almost excellent I tried to order it once, but there was problems with the delivery for some reason then I canceled that and re-ordered and it came the next day hmm!? Anyway, finally got it and it’s nice

Made a massive difference in the quality of the sound compared to a ported box

First off, this is a great box if you're limited on space since 15's are quite large. I am running this in the back of my Mk4 VW GTI and it fits great, It's not the snazziest box. MDL wrapped in carpet. It is very close to what is pictured, mine has a chrome "bBox" logo in the bottom right. It is China made, but it seems quite good, bonded well and caulked joints. Now to the performance. The box does well. Yet with all boxes the frequency response varies, extreme lows, do die slightly, but that is expected with all sealed boxes. On the plus side, bass response is very tight due to the sealed nature. I listen to a variety of music, ranging from rock/metal, electronic, rap/hip-hop/RnB. And all of them do well. If you're looking for a basic box that gets the job done, this works incredibly well.

I recommend for those looking for a quality sub box for a decent price. Box does have a noticeable smell to it, nothing bad but it’s pretty strong. I was able to mount a small amp on the rear of the box. I haven’t had any issues in my few months of using. I have it installed in a 2022 Honda HRV connected to a kicker amp and a kicker 10” sub.

So this box was exactly the internal volume I needed to place my Sundown SD3-8". I didn't have time nor the resources to build my own box and I didn't want to hit up my own local shop to have a ridiculously overpriced one built. So if you want to fit a Sundown sub in this box, this is what you need to know. 1.- The cutout for the sub is on the ANGLED face of the box, NOT on the flat side as shown in the pictures. For some deeper subs that can cause some major issues. The Sundown SD3-8 is fairly shallow with a mounting depth of 4.75 inches, however it is WIDE and thus will rub against the bottom of the box without fabrication. So as you'll see in my pictures, I had to take a wire brush attachment for a drill and shave down the bottom of the box so the sub will fit. Surely there are cleaner ways of doing this but I worked with what I had. :p 2.- The cutout diameter for the box is 7.15". The SD-3 8" requires 7.375" or 7-3/8". You'll have to saw out and sand down the extra diameter to make the sub fit. My job was pretty shoddy but again, some more experienced users can likely do much better. But I used this box because after displacement I have about 0.4 ft^3 air space which is perfect. So I give this sub a 3 out of 5. If you know what you're getting amd you know that the pictures don't match the product, you'll be set for a cheap enclosure.

A custom box is always best but isn't always needed nor is it always in the budget of every build. For basic installs, as long as these pre fab boxes meet the volume requirements of the subwoofer you're using, they are a great option. These are very well made, have a thicker front panel which really helps when mounting heavy subs and they sound good. I have used and currently own many Atrend boxes, single ported 12, dual sealed 10 and single sealed 10. They all work very well, are compact and look good. Definitely worth the money. A custom box would have cost me about $250 and for this install in my daily driver (which I tend to change every year or so) it works just fine. I don't want to many custom boxes that are specific to a car I had as I likely won't have the car long. These are a great option.

The fabric which covers this enclosure is great quality and blends nicely with most OEM boot mats. The connection plate has sturdy springs on the tabs to hold the input cable in place.
