Flash Furniture Kyle Brown LeatherSoft Rocker Recliner

I truly enjoy sitting in this chair. It is extremely comfortable.I purchased it on-line, via amazon, and it was delivered 9 days later. Assembly will be easy for two people, but by myself it was a small challenge. The chair comes in a big, heavy well packaged box. It is best if you are home for the delivery so that the delivery guys can carry it into your home (don't know if they will leave it on your door step otherwise). I was promised a phone call 20-30 minutes before the delivery guys showed up, to allow me time to get home, but that did not happen (I was a little annoyed about that). Fortunately, I was home when the delivery guys showed up (20 minutes late; the delivery window was 8:00 am - 12:00 pm). The delivery guys were very kind and placed the large box in my living room.Again, for two people, getting the chair out of the box and assembled should be easy. By myself, it was a small challenge getting the chair unpacked and assembled. Assembly is simply snapping the back of the chair into the base of the chair.This chair is big and comfortable. However, if your waist size is larger than 41 inches, the chair may be snug. Each arm rest is about a foot wide. I am 6' 1" and I am very comfortable when I recline in the chair. My feet do extend beyond the foot rest when I recline. If you are 5' 9", or less, you will get lost (in a good way) in this chair - you will be in absolute comfort. The chair seat is deep. Accordingly, when the chair is up right, my feet do not touch the floor. The seat cushions material is plush (puffy) and covered in comfortable leather. I like the look of the chair as well. I just wish my feet did not extend beyond the foot rest when I recline but I am unaware of any chair that can prevent that for someone my height (I am 6' 1").This chair is a great value. I shopped in two large department stores and the chairs they sold in this price range were much smaller and had very little padding. In addition, the covering was cloth not leather. This chair looks as great in person as it does in the pictures on this web site.Walmart is selling a similar recliner in their stores. The Walmart chair has similar characteristics to this chair but does not look nearly as well made. The Walmart chair looks like a run down version of this chair. The point is, judge this chair by the pictures on this web site not by the chair Walmart is selling. The pictures of this chair, on this web site, are exactly how the chair looks in person. Also, pay attention to the brand name. The chair being sold on Amazon is made by Flash Furniture. Flash has made a very comfortable (and hopefully long lasting) reclining chair.I have had this chair for 4.5 months now and I still truly enjoy sitting in it. It is holding up very well. I would highly recommend this chair for anyone in the market for a reclining chair.

the below review is correct . if you do buy this chair anyway , i suggest a broom and shovel set to sweep all the brown pieces falling off . Don't be fooled by this recliner!!! Yes, it is comfortable, and looks good initially. Then it starts breaking down, and they won't fix it! It is junk! The back broke completely, pieces of plastic are coming off the arm rests and now we have little bits of brown on our clothing and all over the floor, and it looks like we need to put it at the curb! Never buying this recliner again. Wasted money. We don't even have children in the house, so the manufacturer can't blame kids for this disaster. Just normal use for reading. Shameful.

Update - April 2018 - I originally gave this chair 5 stars - super comfortable, easy to put together, looks nice. Well, it has been about 3 1/2 years and I hate to say the chair isn't wearing well. It still works perfect, is still comfortable, we still fall asleep instantly, but the "pleather" is starting to peel off of one of the arms and the seat. It wasn't too bad, but within the past few weeks, it is really starting to come off. Sigh. Anyway, I thought I should update this so you wouldn't be fooled into thinking it is a 5 star product.Original Review - I ordered this on Friday and it arrived Monday before 10:30 am! Packaging was amazing - solid box that was taped and strapped, chair was completely protected in thick plastic with foam around the metal parts. Chair came in two pieces that easily slid together - couldn't be simpler.Ok, the look of the chair - it is a nice deep brown and looks incredibly plush. I would rate the looks 4 stars as some of the seams don't lay flat, but I suspect this will actually start to look better with use.The chair in the standard upright position - I would rate this a 4 to 5. The chair rocks nicely with no noise. It is comfortable, but if I sit all the way back my feet don't touch the floor. This isn't really an issue as I can rock forward easily to get up and out of the chair.The chair in standard recline position - I would rate this a 5++++++ and beyond. This is what I bought the chair for and OMG it is absolutely amazing. I'm 5' 7" and hubby is 6' and we each can easily find the perfect position. The chair is so comfy and provides a great place to rest my head/neck and also has good lower back support. As some reviews have mentioned the recline lever is low on the right, but can be reached by leaning over and the mechanism works effortlessly. The chair doesn't rock in the recline position and feels rock solid stable. To sit up from this position we found it easiest to push down on the footrest as that brings the lever up within easy reach. Push the lever forward until it locks and you're ready to stand up.But wait, there is more - the chair reclines even further back! I haven't done this as that isn't my thing, but hubby leaned back to put the chair in full recline position - it might as well be a bed. He said he would fall asleep in no time flat, and I really believe that. I'm guessing that anyone using this chair in either of recline positions will fall asleep - it is just that comfortable.It is hard buying things online when you don't have the opportunity to try them out first, but if you are looking for comfort - this IS the chair.

Ok guys - I ordered this two years ago - No complaints for the first year and a half - very comfy but stiff controls (especially putting the seat back upright). Almost two years later, the operation is still stiff, but this thing is falling apart during normal wear and tear. About 6 months ago tears started developing in the headrest (velcro) unit. I contacted Flash furniture to ask for a repair part. I even told them I would pay for it. They told me it wasn't available. What?!? I can use the zippered pillow inside - all I need is the faux leather replacement for the headrest unit.I tried to use Gorilla repair tape to no avail. - I always have to throw something over the headrest on this 2 year old recliner.Now, I have noticed the seating area is somehow completely unseating itself from the faux leather seat (photos attached). Spend a few extra bucks and get a lazy boy. This has great initial comfort but a very short lifespan. It's crap.

Smaller then stated, if you are a big guy this is not the chair for you. I am 6'7 400lbs and this chair was to small for me.

Could easily double as a bed. Cosy and fits an old women in all the right places. Would be a 5 star but had some difficulty with the foot rest levert. At first it was very stiff; however, now that I have had it for a short while and spend most of my day in it, it is much easier to operate. Unbelievably great price and overall excellent value.

It arrived on time and was really easy to put the back on the chair. It's VERY comfortable but lately when I sit in it I sink into the right side ...it's lopsided to the right. Now I have to live with it - no way am I sending this big chair back. Too much of a hassle. I'm disappointed because it is a comfortable recliner - I fall asleep in it.

Very comfy but the fabric scratches easily.
