I’ve had mine over 5 months...
I’ve been using a walker since 2016. My walker has had every kind of shoes that they make. I go outdoors with my walker in Florida heat on cement several days a week. Tennis balls outside? Lasted less than a week. Hard little rubber tips? Wore down unevenly and scratched my vinyl floors. A new fangled shoe was a round piece of plastic the size of a tennis ball. Very fancy, came in several designs. The bottom of this ball had a replaceable flat piece of plastic which could be replaced without buying the entire contraption... sounds good, right? Well, any hard plastic, especially if you go outside will wear down... and because it’s hard, it will scratch floors! I changed out the shoes of the back walker monthly on an average. Some were cheaper than others, but every time I had to throw them out, it was like money down the drain. I was so frustrated! When I found these back wheels with brakes I really worried that I could not manage them, but I was desperate.. the reviews were good and what really got my attention is they were perfect both for indoors or outside! After several minutes I got the right leg on, then the left one was easier since I knew what I was doing. I’m 66 years old and was pleased to do it myself! A few hints about using your ‘4 wheeled’ walker. 1-Don’t buy these if you are very weak and using your walker is too tiring, or if your legs are so weak that they give out under you! 2- Remember a 4 wheeled walker, if your on a slope and temporarily let go of it, it will roll away without you! 3- Keep the walker close enough to your body so that when you put your weight on the hand grips, the brakes will engage, they really do work! 4- Give yourself time to adjust to them. When I first got mine I kept braking it ALL the time. When you start to trust it, you will really enjoy using it! Now, I’ve had mine over 5 months and I just ordered a new set from Amazon.. about a buck less this time. I think they would have lasted several months later, but I was away for a weekend recently and had to walk a long distance on a decline in Florida in heat on cement to a boat dock! Upon returning home, I noticed that the right wheel had split along the seam, (see pic) although it’s still usable, it may not last much longer. Also I’m picking up junk in the cracked wheel. I’ll keep the one that’s intact Incase I need it in the future! I highly recommend these wheels!!

It does what it's supposed to do!
I compared the length of the wheels to the leg I was replacing and that way I knew what hole to use so that the height adjustment would be the same as the original parts it was replacing. There's a right and left, so the wheel is facing the outside of the walker. They tilt just a bit during use, because they are spring loaded and that gives them a little more play, but the walker rolls along smoothly, and when you apply weight to your handles, the spring compresses and the rubber stopper touches the floor to stop movement just like before removing the glides. I am considering getting the larger wheels for the front legs to make it easier to use on grass since I have to cross the lawn. Even as it is now, it was easier to roll across the lawn, and on my concrete driveway, without having to worry about grinding the glides down to nothing. The wheels are the answer for me. You do have to be aware that if on a slope the walker will tend to roll away if you let go of it. The parts were a perfect fit on my walker, and didn't seem to be very heavy either. I'm very satisfied with the wheels, and I think that they should last longer than the glides that wear away on outside surfaces. I would recommend this product as long as you are careful to make sure that the rubber stopper is contacting the floor when you apply weight on the handles so you have control and don't fall. Update I have been using the wheels for several months now, they have been working great. I had worried about them falling apart as another review had mentioned, but this has not happened as yet anyway, and the wheels are much better than the plastic skid caps that they replaced. Much better than replacing tennis balls especially if you have cement to walk on. The wheels roll over the cement rather than get ground away by it. I definitely feel that the wheels are a convenient upgrade to my walker and can recommend them providing you use them carefully, and keep in mind that the walker can roll when you are not pushing down on the grips.

Add on really improves walker for the user
Purchased along with Medline walker. Fits perfectly. Safe, allows walker to roll easily but stops and is secure when user applies a little force+weight.

Ran then til the wheel fell off, 3 times
When I put on the wheel it tilted the table in my walker forward instead of backward, surprising but livable. The wheels worked in the house,. But the first time I took it out to a Doctors appointment, a wheel fell off. A man who looked homeless helped find and picked up all of the parts. When I got home, I re-installed the wheel, but I couldn't make it too tight, because then the wheel wouldn't turn. The next time out, another medical appointment and the same wheel fell off again. I got all of the parts, and installed it a 3'rd time. This time it came apart at home, That was too much!!! I removed the wheel posts and reinstalled the original posts to the walker. One additional problem is that the wheels sent the walker is a large circle, when I went places outside, the walker kept turning to the right edge. I would have given a zero score if that were possible.

rear wheels for walker, work well. rated for 350 lbs.
easy install, sturdy, wheels roll easy, brake works okay, only concern is that wheels are towing out, may break at some point as reported by an other buyer. read reviews, I would still use them because of the ease of rolling my walker on carpeted floors as well as hard surfaces. update == after using these for 16 months I was getting by fairly well, but they really toe out and the braking action became crappy, finally one of them actually snapped and now I am seeking replacements. they should make these with a better material like some metal for sturdy wheel alignment and solid support then they would probably last forever.

I disliked not having any instructions or even drawings how to attach the items on the walker. I am a woman in my 80th. and while I had an idea what to do I was not sure if my idea was correct. A neighbor dropped in who was familiar with walkers took one look and in less than a minute had it assembled. My husband will be using it in the house and the wheels work much better on the variety of flooring (he used the regular rolator but it is to big and clumsy in the house. This is going to be perfect for him. Lisa

I had high hopes for these wheels. They worked not bad in the house but as soon as you go outside it isn't long before the left wheel fell off. Thought I got a bad set so I bought again. The exact same wheel fell off. Save your money.

since we replaced our floors my wife's walker would chatter. I put these wheels on it and now it glides across the floor easily. Highly recommend this product.

I'm so happy to have these wheels on the back of my Walker, with brakes, as opposed to glides.
