These are good actuators. I'd recommend you buy a spare even if your original ones work as what the furniture makers use isn't as good as these. The cords are plenty long and they come with a new power supply. Since my originbal power supplies worked I keep the ones supplied as spares because its not if but when the original will fail. Note that many sofas use double corded power supplies whereas this comes with a single so if your original works, unless you replaced both actuators you'll need to use the one that came with the furniture. If you replace both actuators, it's often better to use the power supplies that are provided with these since the original double plug power supplies can be over loaded if both sides of a sofa or courch are activated as the same time. You also get new push button controllers although I just used what was already installed and kept these as spares too. It seems the limit switches are the weak point in the OEM actualtors and they sometimes can be repaired but unless you like to tinker, just buy these and in a few minutes you are back to normal operation. I recommend these replacement actuators. They work, are easy to install and the durability so far is better than what came with the furniture originally.

I could not tell which part was failing on my Berkline recliner. Just that the recliner did not work. Any part that looked like it could replace either the actuator, switch, or the power supply all had different connectors. Thankfully this kit replaces everything. The actuator fit perfectly and now everything works great!

If you haven't done the research yet, this is a 'Universal' replacement for all of the JLDQ.11.156.333 motor actuators. I purchased a couch set for cheap on a Social Media marketplace because one of the motors was 'dead' and they didn't want to look into why. Some googling, I found that this is a universal replacement for all the JLDQ.11.156.333 with a letter at the end. I needed to replace my JLDQ.11.156.333H, for instance. For mine, the assembly was connected with 2 screws that went right into the plastic of the mount, where as this had holes to put bolts in. So a quick run to a warehouse store and $3 later, I had the bolts needed. Screwed it together, connected up the wiring, and I was good to go. I used the button built into the chair, so I did not use the up/down button that came with this kit.

I only had to change the motor and aluminum extrusion part of this to fix my power loveseat recliner. I guess I'll save the power supply and switch in case it's needed in the future. The motor fit perfectly and only took about 20 minutes to install. Now my very expensive recliner is back in business!

I have a 2013 power reclining sofa that has a history of motor malfunctions. The first motor stopped working just after the warranty. Found a suitable replacement motor - on Amazon.com - that required some minor modifications (some attachment parts on the new motor needed to be replaced with slightly different counterparts from the original - not a big deal.) THIS unit was installed right out of the box. Needed to make some modifications of the wire routing, but all is good, and the sofa works as well as ever. Long term is ????? (Another + for this purchase is the new power supply that includes a 2 x 9 volt battery backup that allows the recliner to be operated after a power outage...which are common in our neighborhood.)

This motor was exactly what we needed. It was easy to install and our couch was once again reclining.

We ordered two of these for a loveseat. They work well and it saved us buying a new loveseat.
