WORKPRO 10-Piece Pro Spade Drill Bit Set, 1/4" to 1-1/2"

Everyone always needs a spare chisel set that will bore through wood. I will only buy the sharp tip tooth set, and not the spiral screw type that’s in the center. If you’re buying these for your husband or your boyfriend, it’s probably a good idea to either talk to him first about which one he wants, or just buy him the sharp tip set. The screw set always rips apart your wood or walks and if you’re doing it on plastic, forget it because it’s gonna mow the center of the plastic and it’s gonna go off center. It doesn’t matter to me how much these cost or how long they last. Because I always seem to hit a nail while I’m using them and I just need to get a new set. I’ll never run out of the need to get these. Sometimes they use the wood for metal and that’s fine with me because they’re just so disposable. Even if you buy Milwaukee or a “high-quality brand” it doesn’t matter they’re gonna go bad. And you’re not gonna be able to sharpen them. Update update, I used it in the stability and wobble are great. It doesn’t mess it up at all. I like the fact that it has 10 sets for a variety. I wouldn’t get less than eight. You’re always gonna find a need to get something in between. Pretty easy to use. Finally the size works well because with that 6 inches I can bore through something that’s 6 inches long. I don’t need a 12 inch one unless I’m going through the wall of my house. Oh I almost forgot I love the fact that it’s got a fabric case to it. Because I hate those plastic cases that just take up space. This one you can wrap up quick use the Velcro and stick it in your pocket or your tool belt and just throw it in your truck without worrying about poking somebody like your fingers or your buddy.

These are fine bits. They are well designed, simple but unique, all the same length and shaft diameter (1/4" hex) and they come SHARP! However, the nylon storage rag attracted my attention, and that also sold me in the end. I've been dealing with paddle bits scattered in a box my whole life. It's disappointing to not have a 7/16 and 11/16 because the wires and tubes I make holes for vary only minimally in these smaller sizes... BUT, the 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 are great smaller bits, and this PADDLE BIT SET is a great organized addition to my tool bag at a reasonable price!

This is a nice affordable set of spade drill bits. They are very sharp and cut through studs easily. However, the tip on 1.25" bit broke off after drilling through six 2x4 studs, so they may not be all that durable.

These are a good quality tool! Good for pro, or, handyman or, handy girl

Right at the moment I was cursing the cheap rubbish bit with a bent shaft I was intending to use to finish a wiring job there was a knock on the door. Cursing the interruption I was pleasantly surprised to open the package and find this really great set of bits (nice wrap it comes in too). What impeccable timing. These a really good and a good selection. Recommend.
