Working as desired and no issues - super worth the money
I bought this to use with rock wedges. I read some negative things that implied this bit isn’t up to the task. It is. Don’t push on it. Let the actual hammer drill do its job. Keep it cool. Use a small bottle and stop every few seconds to fill the hole with water. On old cement I used it on the standard hammer drill setting. I am using a Bosch SDS plus drill. It goes through like butter. Until it hits a rock, of course. This morning I drilled two holes into modern 3600 psi concrete. My driveway. That did slow it down. So I broke out a pointed chisel bit and set it to Hammer plus drill. Once that hole was well started using lots of water, I kept the same setting and switched to this drill bit, and that bit just went to town. With any tool taking this kind of abuse, you must treat it with some respect. Keep it cool. Don’t force it. Let the drill machine do the work. Mine is still going strong with several hours of use on it.

Good bit.
Granite boulders.. we got that. This bit works pretty damn good. Sure , I wore them down till they broke the carbide. And bought more! And split some big stone with up to 14 feather and wedges.

Used to drill large stone
Used to drill huge stone in a chimney so I could split them and remove safely. Worked like a charm across about 30 stone and still has life.

Makes drilling into concrete easy
Like drilling through butter. Try 'em, you'll like 'em.

Buy multiple if you have more than a few holes to drill.
Drilled two holes and went in series stepping up from 1/4 to 1/2 to 5/8 and the bit was wrecked. Worked great for like 8 minutes total.
