Review AND Install guide.
The dealer price for these is over $100 EACH! The clickers work wonderfully and the switches plug right in and fit perfectly.Installation: First off, relax. You do NOT have to remove the center console to get to them.1. Simply pop off the shifter knob and shift boot cover (the boot has hooks on the left and right sides [or top and bottom, can't remember] that will pop off easily with a little force.2. After doing this, you can remove the switches by just reaching in and pushing them upwards towards you. You will notice a piece in the middle that wraps around the plug which slides front-back.3. To remove the existing switch from the wiring harness, slide the wrap-around piece outwards while pulling the switch upwards.4. Reverse this process to install the new switch.5. Gently push the new switch back into the hole and it will snap right into place. The clickers inside these switches (And your factory switches) Are designed exactly the same way as mouse button clickers (albeit more heavy duty) So they will eventually become inoperable as the springy copper piece inside breaks down from use. If your bmw is from '00 or earlier, you should just spend the $20 to replace them as they will feel much nicer. (Or in my case, after you spill root beer on them.)

SUNROOF switch
I had been looking for the driver's window switch and ran across this. I own an older BMW and it has the sunroof/moon roof. I felt that because my parts are become old and this was cheap compared to some of the parts I have had to purchase it was worth the money to buy two extras for future failure. Now that being said I am most certain that the original will never die. The part does feel like it is good quality and I have tested them both to make sure I didn't have two bad switches when I need one of them so that is a plus. Also if you have not had experience in replacing parts just You Tube how to and I'm sure it will make your life much easier, while encouraging you to do more part replacements on a BMW yourself. If you are reading this and are looking for the switch for the driver or passager window on a BMW 325.. Coupe here is the link BMW Genuine E36 Front Rear Door Window Switch Green Housing This is the OEM BMW dirct replacement I would recommend seeing if you could find a match to this. The one I did match was cheaper but is no longer in stock.

not a single press function

Meh fitment, but works
Plugs into the harness great, works fine. Button is noticeably stiffer than OEM. Inner components differ so you cant just swap cases, or internal parts. Uses a LED instead of bulb so the color is just a tad different than oem. Cant really notice at glance, but pretty obvious if you stare. Has undersized plastic mounting tabs as opposed to the metal OEM ones. Result is switch doesnt stay mounted and is constantly popped out.

A no-brainier compared to OEM
Looks and works just like the OEM switch for a fraction of the cost. I popped the top off and compared the internals to the OEM switch and it appears to be of equal quality. The only difference I see that MIGHT be an issue is that the retainer clips that hold the switch in place in the console are metal on the OEM switch and plastic on this one.
