I bought the 3inch wide heels and they are wide enough but not quite long enough. Are the 3 1/4 inch any longer or the same length?

SEEMINGLY, THE LENGTH OF THESE HEELS ARE THE SAME OR SLIGHTLY LONGER THAN THE WIDTH. I WOULD THEREFORE BUY 3 1/4 INCH WIDTH, GLUE THE HEELS TO THE SHOES CENTRALLY AND ALLOW THE ADHESIVE TIME TO SET. THE SURPLUS RUBBER CAN THEN BE PARED OFF USING STANLEY KNIFE BLADES, USING GREAT CARE TO AVOID REMOVING TOO MUCH RUBBER OR CUTTING YOURSELF. I'VE USED RUBBER HEELS AND SOLES TO REPAIR FOOTWEAR FOR 60 YEARS AND IF YOU WANT A FIRST CLASS REPAIR, THEN I WOULD TAKE THE SHOES TO A COBBLER IN THIS INSTANCE.
