ESV Church Bible (Hardcover, Black)

Firstly, this is a review of the build and construction of the book, not any content.The hardcover feels and looks great. The black is very dark and contrasts with the gold label very nicely.The pages are super, super thin. The text can be slightly seen in the backside of pages.However, they feel fine, and not necessarily cheap or weak. They do feel like they can tear easy, but if you are careful, it shouldn’t be a problem.The print is solid, seems accurate, and books are complete and in order.Would highly recommend this product for new followers of Christ or anyone looking to learn more about the Word.

Print is small and pages are thin, but English Standard version allows faster comprehension and reading than King James Version.

I absolutely love this bible!! It’s so so pretty and so affordable for a hardcover!!

This Bible is just a very simple Bible. It is durable and the print is a very readable size for most people. It is perfect for a church pew. The ESV translation is good in terms of accuracy but is known for being stilted in its readability because of its archaisms.

good if your new but i’m going to upgrade to a nkjv ifs more accurate but this is fine if you just want to read but you definitely need to watch a video explaining each chapter this book is deep very deep. the binding is nice i like the yellow and the black look is simple and beautiful nice size also

5 stars because it's the Bible, and the price is great.. however I'm not sure I would have chosen this had I viewed in person.The pages are very thin, it can get difficult to focus seeing so clearly the words on the other side. I also don't love that it doesn't have the words in red.Otherwise it is lightweight and easy to travel with

4-Star rating is regarding the Manufacturing not the Word in the Bible itself.It's an affordable Bible, durably constructed.The pages are so thin that the words on the pages behind can make it hard to read, especially noticeable in Psalms because there is a lot of whitespace so the text from the previous page clearly bleeds through.On the brightside, it is compact and sturdy so it's nice as a spare Bible to grab if you just want to lay on the couch and read. It's also very affordable so you can buy extras to give away.But, if this will be your primary Bible, i'd recommend spending a little more for one with thicker pages.
