Gorgeous
I ordered this paper because it was natural grass, even after reading the complaints about color consistency. It is hand made from natural materials so there is no repeat as in a patterned paper & the color does vary slightly throughout the roll, but the final effect is gorgeous. One word of caution- don’t try to overlap a cut the the seams. Even the sharpest blade will fray the edges. The edges are consistent & straight, so just butt the papers. Rolling the edges helps but giving the paper’s thickness & variations the seams will still show. Adds character. I have not noticed any shrinkage & the paper has been up for a month. Read the instructions!

Do it Yourselfer Here! Quality is Grade A+ but mistakes made Installation Time Consuming
I received the paper extremely fast. The quality is top notch, thick, and looks way more expensive than what I paid for the roll.I applied wallpaper to lower half of wall in my office. I’m no professional. I eventually figured out a rather seamless install the hard way. It took about 3 avoidable hours for install.Installation Dos and Donts From a First Timer:Things to Do:Primer and Paste.First, it’s not peel stick. So, I purchased Roman Eco 88 primer and Roman paste. Even though the primer is optional, every “super” professional on YouTube said it helps application and removability.Dampen Wallpaper.I used a sponge to dampen the paper to make it malleable. Otherwise, It was stiff and hard to manage.Use Fresh Razor Blades:Finally, the paper is difficult to cut without proper technique. Have several fresh razor blades ready. Ensuring they don’t dull during the process is key. If they dull, you won’t get an even cut of the excess paper due to it’s texture. Use a very sharp straight edge spatula thingy (🤷🏾♀️I don’t know what it’s called) to tightly hold the paper down while you cut the excess paper along the spatula’s edge. You’ll get a seamless trim. Otherwise, it’ll look like jagged edges and will be very unsightly.Things Not to Do:Apply Paper Without Cutting to Measurements of Space: My first error was not cutting the excess paper prior to pasting since there was about 6 inches additional at top and bottom. Too much paper made it difficult to fit the paper into the lower end of the wall. It is 36 inches and the space I needed it for was only 24 inches. Therefore, I should have cut at least 6 to 8 inches off. I cut as I went😳😳. First headache!!!! I advise that you cut the paper to leave about 2-3 additional inches on each side so that it can nearly fit into space where you’re pasting the paper.Pasting Wall instead of Paper:Second error, I pasted the wall instead of the paper 🤦🏾♀️. This made the process difficult and time consuming. The paste kept drying. Please!!! I’m begging you to Paste the paper for less headache and installation time. This is my first time using both a non pasted paper and grass cloth. It was definitely a learning experience. After watching MANY YouTube videos, I am now an accomplished grass cloth DO IT YOuRSeLFEr. Happy pasting!!!!

Shade varies even in the same roll
Excellent quality! I wondered what other reviewers meant about the shading, but it is very evident, with a very noticeable color difference from strips cut from the beginning of the roll, as compared to strips cut from the end of the roll. But, all in all, it still looks good.

This is real grasscloth
This is not printed. It’s real grass cloth. And if you’ve ever purchased grass cloth before, you’ll know this is a great price. The 2 rolls purchased at different times matched in color and pattern. The color matches my travertine flooring perfectly. I’d say it’s light caramel, dark cream, buff, coffee with extra cream and soft tan tones. This has no gray tones. The pattern is nice and uniformed with little in the way of broke or jagged pieces sticking out. The edges are cut clean so little waste. Use sharpe blade and change often. There WILL be seams, it’s the nature of grass cloth installation so don’t be disappointed when you see the joined seams, it’s part of the character of grass cloth wall paper. It will NOT match exactly to the next roll installed on wall- left to right. You still need to make sure the wall is smooth and prepped so nail holes and bumps don’t show thru. It’s very thick, opaque paper. Up to you if you do a wallpaper primer coat. If you’re thinking this is a permanent application, then you can skip that. Doing another wall since I liked it so much.

Real grasscloth, 36”, good quality
Very nice quality product! Unlike most wall coverings, this product is 36” across. Used it to cover dated old mirrored closet doors with excellent results and a good piece left over. Laid doors down on sawhorses and cut paper a little longer than needed. Cleaned doors thoroughly, applied wallpaper paste to mirror heavily and to paper all over. Butted up bottom and side seam, smoothed down, scored uncut edges. Easily cut top to length using Exacto knife and several blades. Side was harder to cut, took patience and a steady hand. Wiped up excess glue and final wipe of edges with damp rag. Perfect! Let dry overnight and rehung. True to color. Beautiful real grasscloth. Instant bedroom update!

Expensive, good quality
Very expensive, difficult to paste on the walls and smells like grass. Seams show as expected and advice is to get a wallpaper roller

Beautiful Quality Paper!
I love this paper! Keep in mind that because it is natural, you will not be able to line each section up perfectly. So, if you get just enough to cover your area, you may end up trying to section smaller piecesInto an area. Larger whole pieces look better. Nonetheless less I love it! Just be strategic in placing it. It went on well. I had no trouble getting it to stick with wallpaper glue I purchased from Lowe’s. I applied the glue to the wall and the paper because I have textured walls and I wanted to make sure it stuck. I purchased the “used” roll because it was cheaper and it was unopened and in great condition. I would purchase it again.

beautiful
i used this in formal living foom inside rectangle wall mouldings. it is a little hard to cut, i used clear fat push pins as i didnt want to make it permanent paper. Got it for $40 buying used but good condition, it arrived fully sealed new. It looks very expensive and high end.
