Origami Book – Simple To Advanced Traditional Japanese Folding Papers

Quite pleased with this publication. Straightforward to medium sized layouts. I understand he will love it. He likes to fold napkins to contours --today he can create collectible characters for his friends and loved ones. My only suggestion is that the writer, publisher or Amazon must urge what sizes of paper to buy to create the layouts in the publication. It might make it a lot simpler for clients when buying this book for a present for someone. Locally I discovered a bundle of those newspapers, but there have been six unique sizes in the bundle. It would be a lot better to have the ability to purchase the origami paper in just the dimensions necessary to make all characters in the publication.

I've few imaginative bones in my body and found that this book quite simple to follow along with. The jobs are modest, the directions actual easy and also the diagrams are useful. For complete beginners like me that are trying Origami for the very first time , this book is a great beginning point. It's the simplest way to find out learn some origami statistics since it educates you specific details about how to get it done, and in addition, it informs you step by step.

Very good quality, simple guidelines, and relatively easy to bring together to places along with us. This was interesting to do with my kiddies. We'd so many folds she couldn't wait around to get the following. They have been simple, interesting, and after she had been drawing them making faces, painting them... As I mentioned this publication is super amazing for the youngsters, but I should've looked to get a intermediate origami book for myself personally.

A fair book for the rank beginner, especially appropriate for children. Designs are all simple. Diagrams are okay. Explanation is not sufficient for the beginning paper folder who weirdo well with these designs. Adequate, but in no way exceptional. Also, some of the folding patterns included appear to be ones attributed to other origamists, but I didn't notice attribution for the original creator.

Great Book Using a Lot of Information and Images. The reading isn't aimed for a very young kid but the images are extremely descriptive revealing the folds therefore even my grand Child with any autism can adhere to the images and they retain him interested for hours. I would recommend this buy for somebody who enjoys details and contains a great deal of time in their hands!

The folding instructions for this book to learn how to make the different shapes was the worst I've ever seen. There is no way I'd be able to fold the paper to get say The Balloon with wings! It was totally confusing & the diagrams were too vague. This book needs to be rewritten with more instructions added. Instructions that I've gotten off the internet to fold the origami fortune teller showed how the piece would look in 3 D each time you folded the paper. There was also text included on the internet instructions whereas this book doesn't have any text to speak of except the page to show what the arrows mean. This book was written by a lazy author & not worth the money!

I'd originally purchased this as a holiday present, however when it came, I needed to test out all the layouts! A number of them are simple to accomplish, with just a little practice, and origami paper is not a must have. The directions are great for children, the images are clarifying and apparent. Fun for the entire household, and also a must-have for artsy children!

Although it says beginners to advanced as a beginner there were lots of unexplained terminology that I had no idea what it meant. Also quite a thin book for the money

Not very impressed with this although it’s for beginners, you don’t expect the whole book to be one stage I expected maybe other ones of a different stage obviously to be towards the end but no go to find my own online.

This is a really disappointing book. They are all very basic models. The use of the word advanced suggested that some would be challenging. They are not. Poor value.
