Sherlock
Went searching for some of Sir Arthur Doyle's writings after becoming mesmerized by the BBC Sherlock series. It will be an agonizing wait for new episodes but I am so enjoying this chronicle. Many episodes of the modern Sherlock were re-invented from the originals and you will enjoy the pace and wit of Doyle's writing. Great fun... especially if you happen to imagine Cumberbatch and Freeman in the roles. The Sherlock series and Cumberbatch himself stay loyal to the original and Doyle proves to be ahead of his time. A must have on your e-reader. Thanks.

He just improves with age, both yours and his
I made it a goal this summer to reread all the Sherlock Holmes works, and I did it!!! ( No, my house isn't clean, but who cares? I met goal number one.) Doyle's works just improve with age, both theirs and yours. Holmes is cunning, masterful, creative, intelligent, and intuitive.... everything you'd want in a detective. Sure, he's a bit distainful and he bores easily, too, but we would be, too, if we had his massive intellect. Fun all the way through!

Good Compilation of Venerale Holmes Saga
This e-book contains all of the sort stories and the four novels of A. Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories. Generally, it is well presented and easy to read. There are some spelling errors and pagination issues, but noting that detracts from the adventures in any significant way.

The original
This collection of Holmes stories appears to be the complete works. So, if you are like me and have a dozen assorted collections you downloaded for free you can now clear up your kindle. This is all you need. How do you write a review about the most famous detective ever known? I suppose you simply say if you want to know where your favorite protagonist came from, their odd quirks, amazing insights, well meet the original. Mr. Sherlock Holmes.

A must own for any Sherlock Holmes fan!
If you're a mystery buff like me, you have a special love for Sherlock Holmes. I picked up this collection for my e-reader and was surprised by how much was in it. Not only does it include the 4 novels (A STUDY IN SCARLET, THE SIGN OF THE FOUR, THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, THE VALLEY OF FEAR) but it also contains 43 short stories (including my favorites like THE BLUE CARBUNCLE, THE SOLITARY CYCLIST, THE CREEPING MAN) as well as some incredible illustrations. A must own for any Sherlock Holmes fan!A note about the kindle edition: The font was easy to read and the illustrations are gorgeous. My Rating: 5++ stars

Highly Recommended
This book carries the original "Study in Scarlet" which was my first exposure to the Mormons. Subsequently I lived in Salt Lake City and found out they're not so bad after all, and the author later stated as much. Not later than me but later than when he first published it. But the story is great and this was the third time I have read it. It's really a great adventure story. Have read several of the other stories over the years and they are all good.

what a surprise
I am quite surprised that I have had the stamina to read for many days and enjoyed this book more than I have read recently.it is amazing the way the writer was able to keep my undivided attention throughout all of the many pages.

Super Collection for Sherlock Holmes/Arthur Conan Doyle Aficionados Like Myself! (Tho any mystery lover ought to like as well)
Superbly formatted kindle edition with handy links from the tables of contents to access all 4 popular novels and 43 classic novellas in any order you choose such as some of my favorite shorts like "The Man with the Twisted Lip", "The Tiger of San Pedro" and "The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax". Includes an image gallery (immediately following "His Last Bow-An Epilogue of Sherlock Holmes most easily accessible from table of contents using handy link) which was remarkable in and of itself that I really enjoyed. A great book and a fine bargain that I heartily recommend even if you aren't necessarily the biggest of enthusiasts as who doesn't enjoy a quality whodunit?

Excellent read
Really loved these stories. I thought at first it would get a bit old fashioned and boring but NO every story was really fascinating. They are all told as Dr Watson's memoirs and are excellently written. This volume kep me going for a week whilst on a lazy holiday. Even the hound of the Baskervilles that has been done in film - I thought I know this story, but I may as well read it as flick over it (on kindle you have to flick page by page, unlike a book where you can just find the end of that story and continue reading), and thank goodness I was reading it on kindle instead of a paperback as I found it just as interesting and there were details that I did not know and things explained too.All in all I recommend anyone to read this book.
