Exact fit but you will need to purchase eight M8 1.25 nuts and two M149625 blade washers to complete the installation. I don't know the exact part number for the larger blade nuts, as they came with the new blades I purchased.

These are OE spindles for my S130 John Deere 42 “ deck. They worked great. May pay more for OE but you know they will fit as described, not like the cheap aftermarket ones I bought first. Should have known better.

Checked with local John Deere dealer. These are the new style relpacement spindles. My only disappointment was it doesn't come with nuts to attach spindle to the deck or the blade to the spindle. The original spindles were attached using bolts that threaded into the spindle itself. The new ones come with a pressed in stud but no nuts. I had to purchase these at the local dealer.The blade stud is larger than my original but if you purchase blades from John Deere the kit contains the smaller and larger size nuts.

After having purchased cheap Chinese spindle replacements and seeing the extremely low quality, I ordered these OEM spindles which simply work. Yes they cost more, but after having continuing problems with belt breakage, going with all OEM parts on the mower deck solved the issue of belt breakage on my X300.

Purchased for 42" mower deck on John Deere X300. All of the old parts fit perfectly. The only issue was breaking the nut loose on the drive pulley. Even with a helper on the breaker bar it would not budge. I purchased an electric impact wrench for the job and removed the stuck nut in seconds. No other issues and the mower deck cuts like new.

Received part very quickly which eliminated equipment down time. Removed and replaced part with no problem.
