This knife is one of the most magnificent knives I ever held the weight is pretty lightweight, it's got half powder coated in black then the bottom of the blade is s30v I'm pretty sure but it's razor sharp and it's a great knife for survival/bushcraft I highly recommend if your a knife collector or a survivalist or bushcrafter that you buy this knife off Amazon it come with a certificate of authenticity made in usa. It's top 5 one of my best knives..... I LOVE IT

Not what I expected
This knife was a mixed bag for me. The handle and sheath are so long the complete package on your belt is as long as a longer knife. I also bought the Lion steel which has a half inch longer blade and the complete package is smaller. I will just throw this one in my truck.

I haven't got to test it yet. I have big hands and it fits my hand great. Love the feel of it, came sharp enough to shave and the kydex sheathe is quite nice and secure. I bought it because I found my Esee 6 a bit large for some stuff and wanted something smaller with a type of scandi grind. I think I found my new favorite knife.
