A great guitar irrespective of the price, which is in itself quite remarkable. Out of the box the guitar was nicely set up, it looks great, the frets were all levelled and no sharp edges. The pickups have an excellent responsiveness and there is a lot of sustain thanks to the mahogany body. It's certainly easy to nail Slash's tone and so much more. As many reviewers (including professionals) have stated this guitar plays and sounds like a much more expensive instrument. Indeed, I've heard side by side comparisons between the Vintage and 'real thing' (Gibson) in the past and although the Gibson has the edge tonally (primarily due to the pickups in my opinion) it doesn't justify the size of the price difference between the instruments, which is considerable. I bought my guitar from Reidy's via Amazon and have no complaints. Indeed, I'm so impressed with this guitar that I'm sure I'll be buying others (e.g. the V100 Lemon Drop) from the Vintage range in the very near future.

A very good guitar for the price, the neck is amazing and keeps the tone pretty well. The overall finish is up to a very good standard though the cutaway part needed a bit more polishing. It weighs a bit more than your average Epi or Gibs. The Wilkinson pups give you plenty of tone and power; however....they produce a lot of humming and feedback when through a distortion pedal at high volume, but get this baby a good set of pups and you have a monster guitar. Definitely it's a good buy for the price and it comes with strap locks!

Maybe not a real Gibson Les paul but at the price point, a lot less than a REAL Gibson Les Paul, a brilliant buy, excellent finish and standard of hardware and on evidence of first plug in and play a really high standard of sound quality and playability. If you are looking for a decent first guitar or a stand by gigging guitar can thouroughly recommend this at the price point, would be a great buy at even a couple of hundred pounds more

I was in the market for a guitar after finding a cheap fender clone by the rubbish chute one morning and strumming away on it maniacally for a few days. As it may turn out to be one of my expensive fads I didn't want to splash out mega money on something I may end up selling on in a few months. After much research I settled on this beauty. If you're looking for an exact copy of a Gibson Les Paul original, look no further. Unlike a lot of copies this has been lovingly constructed and seriously, if the name Gibson was at the top of the headstock, even a competent guitarist would be hard pressed to spot any difference. After reading a few grumbles on here regarding damage in transit I literally took it out of its double box packing with my eyes half closed, dreading the moment I would see a massive scratch or a tone or volume knob snapped off. But I needn't have worried, the thing is in superb condition and appears to be setup very well, although understandably was tuned down for transit. In all honesty, its a thing of beauty and for the money I don't know how they do it. Its easy to see why the design has become a classic and I would be happy to hang it on the wall as a piece of art if I got fed up playing with it.
