Panasonic VHS to DVD Recorder VCR Combo w/Remote, HDMI

For some reason, the Amazon advertisement and the Seller's did not match. However the Seller kindly agreed to supply what was advertised by Amazon, sending me additional items. When I received a Remote, it did not work. I contacted Panasonic, the maker of the DVD recorder. They (via online chat) led my through Resetting the DVD Recorder to Factor Setup, suggesting that would help it to sync with the Remote. It DID NOT. In fact, it left me with a device that was in Factor Setup, with NO WAY to change it, as the Remote I had did not work. At that point, Panasonic said seeing that the Recorder was an older model, they could not provide any additional help. When I contacted the Seller for any suggestions, he was good enough to get a Remote and set it up to work immediately upon arrival. I have already used the DVD Recorder and it works great, recording an old family VHS. I am very happy with the DVD Recorder and all the Support provided by the Seller.

The marketing picture does not represent what you will receive. There is no manual on how to convert tapes to a disc. Only thing that arrived in the makeshift box was the recorder. The recorder makes a loud noise. Just because it is advertised as a vintage product doesn't mean it is worth the price. I was expecting a nicer converter based upon the pictures. I tested the picture with both a very good VHS tape and a tape I wanted to convert. My "vintage" VHS player I own displayed great pictures; and using the same TV and cables with the converter, the pictures were grainy, and the playback skipped. I made a bad choice.

when plugged up the fan want go off ever when you turn oof the power button . picture for vhs is little poor. what should i do ? to get fan to go off with upluging the machine.

I like this recorder cuz it was easy to set up and works well

I really like my protect it didn't come with a manual so I had yo go to u tube to see how to use it it works great as t and I've already copied some family movies from vhs yo dvd

Took 2 weeks to arrive ; needed an extra cable to complete installation (cost $40 );needed a technician to install properly ; manual provided was not complete ; pages missing & no continuity; performs well after proper installation.....Even after all these complaints I'm glad I can show Grandkids & Great Grandkids old VHS tapes they ask about.I have many.

I give this product 5 Star rating it was just what I was looking for. It came well boxed up with all the items as advertised I want to tell the seller great job and keep up the good work. Thanks

The item looks great, but without the remote I can't really use it, so it's been worthless. The seller has not been very good getting back to me, so I can't recommend doing business with them. *Edit* Finally got a remote, and it's a total lemon piece of SH!× and never worked properly. This company is totally dishonest.
