DynomaxUltra Flo 17220 Exhaust Muffler for Ford F-150

Nicely made muffler with proven flow rates and less back pressure than stock. I did have a Flowmaster Series 10 on my Bronco and it sounded terrible. I would definitely call myself an exhaust enthusiast, but as I’m getting a bit older I appreciate an exhaust note that fits the car, isn’t obnoxiously loud, and actually make others appreciate what you’re running. This muffler is QUIET compared to others. I can actually hear my stereo now, and I’m not waking up the neighbors with my bronco…the bmw will, but not the bronco. You want a quieter ride, then this is your muffler.

I installed it on my 2003 Dodge Dakota with factory 3" exhaust. I had the chambered Flow-max muffler on it before, it lasted just under 8 years. So I decided to order another one to replace it I accidentally ordered the straight thru with the perforated ceramic wrapped baffle. When it arrived, I saw I had ordered the wrong one and had concerns it would be too loud. At idle and wide-open acceleration, it is a bit louder: around town and in the cruising ranges, it is much quieter, which I prefer. I took a 750-mile trip, hearing exhaust noise after a few hours wasn't a factor anymore. It's no louder cruising than my sons stock Ram 2500 Hemi

Had to change my muffler thanks to water finally killing my old FlowMaster. After spending a few months sounding like a jet boat, I replaced the exhaust with this fella. My system dumps just before the rear axle in order to hear the rumble in the cab. Was cool when I was younger. Now, I'm very pleased with this product. The sound can still be heard in the cab, and sounds nice outside, but quiet enough to where you don't want to step on the gas and her the roar. Luckily, I have access to a facility who did the welding, it wasn't the easiest to put on. You will need to transfer the hook from the old exhaust to this one in order to put it on. Installed on a 2003 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V8. Now I just want to plumb the exhaust out to the factory location so I don't hear it at all in the cab.

I replaced a Chinese Flowmaster 40 series knockoff on my 2020 Ram with this Dynomax Ultra Flo. Im much happier with the sound and performance. The Chlowmaster was just too loud. With its straight through design, the Dynomax still gave a performance boost, but the added glass inside of the muffler quieted down the ride a lot. It still sounds great, with a nice low rumble at idle and lower rpms, but without droning you out of the cab on the freeway. Its not a perfect muffler, but it is a great value for the money. I'd recommend it.

This product was installed on a 2006 chevy 1500 with 4.8l engine. The muffler was easy to install and performed as advertised. The sound is very nice deep and mellow without a drone at highway speeds. I will use this product on future projects.

Sound great, a little bit quieter at idle, And when you get on it, you know, you have a good exhaust system.

If you put this on a cammed out 5.3 with headers, I guarantee you it will sound good

Bought these mufflers for my old pickup, had them on for 3 years but only put about 1000 miles on pickup and one of them cracked in several places and dynomax will not warranty it because Amazon is not an authorized dealer

price was right and like the quality and welded seams

Bought this muffler in 3" C/C to go in my single 3" exhaust on my 2010 5.3 Silverado and I'm very pleased, nice low mellow tone at idle and low rpm but great bark when you get on it. Very little to no drone! Great quality at a reasonable price. Would recommend to anybody.

After much searching around online I went with this muffler, I wanted something for my 2011 ram 1500 that would have a nice sound but not be overly loud and drony on the highway.I had the muffler professionally installed and it went on with no real issues , so far I'm very pleased with the sound and the build quality of the muffler looks pretty good .I'll redo the review in a few months time and see how its holding up . That's the only reason I went with 4/5 stars and not 5/5 as i dont know how the muffler will hold up long term .
