good improvement for my 23 V Strom 800 DE.
Swapped out my OEM 17t counter shaft spocket on my 2023 Suzuki V Strom 800 DE with this 16t and it was a noticeable difference. The RPMs run a little higher, but with improved low end response. I am pleased with the change, even on long rides on surface streets.

Perfect fot for 2018 V-strom 650
The sprocket fits just like the OEM. I went up a tooth to 16 (stock is 15) and while it does make acceleration a bit slower, bike is less buzzy on the highway; 1st gear is more usable, not as short as it was, 6th gear is good at 65+. If I was going to do this again, I would probably keep the stock 15 and change the rear 2 teeth down (1 front tooth = 3 rear). Overall, Suzuki should have space out the transmission a bit more, or at least the 6th gear for cruising.

Mislabeled items
Saw a few reviews saying this was the wrong item as marked. Ordered it anyway bc price was good. It DOES NOT fit a 520 chain, even though it is labeled as such. My guess is that the seller has a batch of defective mislabeled product and is selling it anyway to make some money. Costing me a week of transportation, as my bike is my daily vehicle. Now, I have to print a return label, go to the post office, then find the correct item, wait another week or two, amd then install the new chain. Pain in the azz.

Lowered hearing on Suzuki V Strom800de
I spend a lot of time off road and on old country roads. This sprocket slightly lowered my gearing. Worked very well. Only slightly higher rpm at highway speeds. No complaints so far.

JT Sprockets Rocks!!!
This works great in my 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally. I have no issues whatsoever. Decent price and great quality cheaper than going to the shop at $1800 a pop. Triumphs are darn expensive to maintain.

Smooth & Quiet Upgrade – Great for Long Distance Highway Riding
I'm a long time JT Sprockets customer, and love their products. After running both the stock 15-tooth and a torquier 14-tooth sprocket, I decided to give this 16-tooth JT Sprocket a shot on my 2004 SV650S. It's also the first time I've purposely installed a rubber cushioned sprocket. Pros: ✅ Improved gas mileage – Less revs at highway speeds ✅ Still plenty of low-end power – The SV650 handles it well ✅ Rubber cushioning reduces noise – Noticeably quieter than non-cushioned sprockets Cons (if you can call it that): ⚠️ Less accidental wheelies – So if you like popping up the front, this might tame it a bit Final Thoughts: Perfect for daily riding and longer trips, especially if you want a quieter, smoother ride with a slight MPG boost. Would definitely buy again!
