G is for Gold Medal: An Olympics Alphabet (Sports Alphabet)
E**.
L for gymnastics? Why not G?
The illustrations in the book are great. Full color, water color style pictures. But the sports representing some of the letters are bizarre....G is for greatest athlete Jim Thorpe. Why not gymnastics.I is for quadruple jump. Ice hockey?L is for long run, launch, leap landing gymnast. Luge?T take aim archery. Tennis? Taekwondo? Table Tennis?V is for variety. Volleyball?W is for wonderful world of water sports. Weight lifting, wrestling, water polo? There are several letters that donor correspond to Olympicevents. I understand the stretch there. But ,enters matching a sport? Why not use them?

Cute
I'm a huge fan of the Olympics, so of course I like this book. I bought it this summer during the games while I was home on maternity leave. It's a different alphabet book to read to my little one.

Lots of good info
Read this to boys during Olympics... lots of good information about Olympics. Good for younger children if you just want to read short paragraph per letter. Good for older children who want more info and can read more detailed info
