The History of Watches Hardcover – February 26, 2008

I ordered this as a birthday present for a friend who loves watches, but upon reviewing the book, I found it touched on a lot of pocket watches and few wristwatches. But it looks like an interesting read anyway, so we did give it as the gift.

As a gift for someone who collects watches, the book was a hit. I heard back from them later and his reviews were good and he learned a lot.

I was waiting a greater book, but I could use it over a smal table. I hope buy another biger in the next months.

A very nice book on watches. Great color plates are excellent and it has examples back to the 15 century with notes on the makers involved. Very happy indeed.

Stunning photos. Great writing. If you want a primer on watches, just get this.

If for any reason you like watches this is a must have book. Very well illustrated.
