MyLifeUNIT Protective Ironing Scorch Mesh Cloth

I know I didn’t pay very much for this, but it is very poorly made.

This item does its job, it leave no ironing shine on clothing, very satisfied, and would buy again.

I own a cleaners & while ironing a customers pants the iron stuck to them & I started searching & came across this. Amazing & I will not iron without it again. I do wish they made it longer & wider but I make it work. I’ve ordered a few more I wish they weren’t so much tho.

I read the reviews indicating the iron burned thru this mesh. I tried two different irons, with and without steam. With both, I started low on the wool setting and proceeded up the highest setting which was linen. I had absolutely no problem with burning or melting of the mesh. While I didn't iron anything, I was afraid to ruin the item, I did try it on cotton fabric. I left the iron in place at several points on the fabric to duplicate trying to remove stubborn wrinkles. I'm impressed with this item. The housekeeper has yet to use it so I can't comment on the mesh leaving marks on the fabric. I can tell you it don't melt and I have no connection to the company selling this. I reviewed it because the existing 1 star reviews. It was inexpensive enough that, based on the 5 star reviews, I wanted to try it. I'm glad I did. It's much better than a cotton pressing cloth which isn't transparent.

I wanted to stop the shiny press marks on black clothes and to avoid scorch marks on my blouses. I didn't have high hopes for this, but it was inexpensive enough, so I gave it a try. Much to my surprise it worked out great. It is large enough for pants legs, more than big enough for the backs of my blouses, and translucent enough for me to see what I'm doing (like pleats). I have used it with high heat and steam with no problems. I took off one star because the cotton binding around the edge was very poorly sewn, but I didn't return it because it didn't effect the performance of it (the edges didn't fray or anything) and it just didn't seem to be worth the time it would take to send it back. It solved a problem - this product worked out well for me.

As an online reseller I often need to iron certain items after washing before photography, and this helps me protect my investments.I was on the fence when I purchased it but after a month of using it I am very happy I took the chance.I will update later if I experience any issues. It has already paid for itself in my opinion.

Save the scorching. The lady that irons for us scorched three pairs of not inexpensive pants before we purchased this. She now uses this and nothing has been scorched since. She was so embarrassed by the burns, she almost quit before admitting what she’d done and we found this very easy solution. Now, life I’d good for everyone. I will say however, it’s a shame so many clothes today require ironing that a few years ago did not. Why have materials cheapened in quality. Sorry.... I know this wasn’t exactly the place to vent.

Pressing any garment is a precious and important stage, sometimes various heat and pressure needs to be adjusted in order to achieve the proper finish. This product ensures that none of your fabrics will be burnt, great tool to have as a designer.

I've had one of these for years and wanted to replace it. The quality of this one wasn't as good.

It does as expected

This was meant to protect my fabric but the iron burnt a hole through it instead. Did not see that coming.

Best invention for ironers. Works fast and easy instead of getting the pressing cloth out. Can see what you are ironing!!
