Airhead Snow Ryder Hardwood Snowboard w/Velcro Bindings

This is definitely the right product for beginner, only if the valco strip can hold. My third grader played in the back yard for only thirty minutes and the bottom of the strip completely broke. Poor quality. I tried to use wire to attach or sew the strip back. For the other day we played, the other strip broke from bottom as well, and I sew it back with wire. I am not sure if this product can even survive just one winter.

This arrived just in time for a snow day. My 11-year-old son typically uses a sled to play outside on a snow day, but decided he wanted one of these for Christmas. He has used it a couple of times and loves it. The velcro straps make it easy to take off after a run, then walk back up a hill in regular snow boots. I wouldn't recommend this for snowboarding on a mountain with a lift. . .traditional snowboard would probably be better. Overall, this is a great board for learning the basics and having fun.

Great for about 3 hours of use, then the strap started coming undone at the seam. I'm going to try to sew it back together, but shouldn't have to be repairing something I received less than 24 hours ago...

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My son loves this snowboard. He got right on and started snowboarding like a pro. Seems super sturdy, but it was a recent Christmas present to I'll check in later for how well it holds up.

I was kind of weary about buying this because of the reviews, but I did anyways. It came in blue instead of the red that was ordered. However it came in great condition, no scratches or mess up like some of the other reviews. It even came in only 2 days. Its only October now but my son wanted a snow board for his birthday. He won't be able to use it for another month or two but I was completely happy with this order.

So, the design is great for starters and you can upgrade the boot straps with more a more modern harness. Our Ski Resort does not allow Velcro straps on their hill so I will need to upgrade the Velcro harness with the modern hard boot clamps. Sad day for us, but will upgrade the board and try again. If not we'll just hang them on the wall for decoration.

This is a sturdy toy snowboard for backyard or neighborhood sled hill use. We did not have issues with friction as one reviewer mentioned. I can see how it may delaminate over time, but so far so good.

Purchased this board for my 12 year old son who is a beginner. It was great for him to be able to slide his foot in without having to be locked into the board. His foot stayed put down our yard hill.

Big issue with the straps my son (10 ) used it four times the straps keep coming undone. Going to have to find him different bindings or replace the snow

Product functions, and my son enjoys the snowboard as a training board. The board came with a chip in the wood that is very noticeable. We cannot return it as it was a gift from Santa but please pull wrapping off and investigate the product before using it.

Juste pour le plaisir de faire du snow dans le cartier. Ne convient pas au pente de ski mais très bien pour les enfants.

Great beginner board for kids. 2 of our grandkids went down the hill first time and one other on the third attempt. Great price point.

Well made and easy to strap on looks good too !
