Very nice

I have been looking at this throw for a long time. It does appear much lighter in the picure. I would say the background is more of a light tan. but I am going to keep it. The quality is good and I like the pattern a lot. Works well for fall.

The colors are: The background is a nice true taupe which is medium-dark like some of the pictures; the darker red on the larger flowers is a burgundy; the lighter red is a tomato color; the yellow is a bold amber; the design drawings and all the lines are a dark brown; plus soft flesh-pinks and soft greens. The taupe is a very nice color mid-to-dark range and taupe goes with lots of things; the other colors are more vibrant in person and are very pretty. It is a very nice throw or blanket and appears to be well-made. Stitching is swirl, not horizontal/vertical. The weight is similar to a quilted sham, medium-light weight. It looks nice on the bed and is cozy as a leg-warmer or a wrap.

Love this ALL cotton throw. The colors are bright and beautiful— lightweight and washes up beautifully!

This is lovely, great antique country look. Quilting job is nice, thick but not bulky, warm. A great little throw for the couch or bed.

This is a very pretty throw. The quilting is well done and although the colours are less vivid than in the picture, the pattern is very elegant.
