Best Cat Brush Ever
This is the best brush I have used (gone through four styles already). This style of brush head is much easier to maneuver around his face, neck, and legs. I can flip the brush to the soft side when he starts to get testy. The other side grabs a nice amount of hair to help avoid tangles. I feel like it grabs more of the bulky undercoat too. For reference, our cat is a long-hair Manx (with tail). His hair is cotton candy-like. He has a rather bushy neck, back legs, and tail. Other brushes have rectangle heads or large, oval heads with the wrong bristle type to get through his tufts. This is able to get in tight spots, grab the hair quickly, and a long enough handle to prevent him from being able to bat me.

Best brush
I've tried every king of brush imaginable for my medium length fur cat and this is the only one that not only gets the loose fur but that my cat actually asks for. The bamboo brush is a bit stiffer and longer than the boar bristle brushes I've tried without being as stiff and as irritating as the metal brushes I've tried.

My Cat LOVES This Brush!!
My 11yr old cat, Early, LOVES to be brushed. He’ll let me brush him for an hour if my wrist could handle it. I accidentally stepped on his original fave brush he’s had since a kitten I rescued off the street and unfortunately the bristles bent sideways :( I tried to find a replacement but the company who made his original brush seems to have disappeared. This was the 4th brush I tried on him as a replacement and it was an instant hit! The others either didn’t remove his fur (he’s a domestic medium hair) or were too small or he just wasn’t excited about them. This brush has long enough metal bristles to really get down to his skin and they don’t irritate his sensitive skin at all. He has REALLY sensitive skin and some brushes cause scabby patches :/ And the soft bristled side is great for his cheeks and belly! Yup, he loves being brushed so much he isn’t bothered by his belly being touched. The brush is wood which I like but the handle is cut very oddly and doesn’t feel good in my hand at all. It slips out of my hand often. I have MS but I think it has more to do with not having a soft grip handle, just the hard wood. The metal side is very easy to clean and collect A LOT of fur before it needs to be cleaned off. But the soft bristled side is a pain to clean. I have to get a comb and literally comb his fur out of that side :( But what’s IMPORTANT IS MY CAT LOVES THIS BRUSH AND IT’S GENTLE ON HIS SUPER SENSITIVE SKIN so I put up with the uncomfortable handle and difficulty with cleaning it. Hopefully it’s durable, lasts a long time and I don’t step on it lol because I didn’t know how big of a brush connoisseur my cat is!! If you have a cat who absolutely loves a good brushing, has sensitive skin and/or has a thick coat then give this brush a try!! I hope the manufacturer reads this and CHANGES THE HANDLE TO SOMETHING THICKER/SOFTER AND EASIER TO HOLD. Other than that, I’m happy with this brush because my cat totally approves of it :)

Perfect for long hair cats
We have 5 Siberian Forest cats and the comb and. Oth are amazing. Our kitties get on their lap waiting for their brushing- I think they thinks I’m their mom grooming them. They start licking themselves as soon as we start! They love how gentle it is yet gets all the hair! We save the hair for the birds in the spring to build nests. We put the hair out on the deck and it’s gone in a day! Love this brush! Highly recommend.

SHE LOVES IT
She is OBSESSED with this brush. She is a long hair, so she needs maintenance and hates combs. This brush is a huge hit with her, and it turned brush time into a treat instead of a trick!! Mostly she loves the hemp bristles and tolerates the wire, but it’s a vast improvement over our usual brushing. She does want to chew on the hemp side, so I have to keep it out of her reach.

My cats now enjoy grooming time
Love this little brush. My cats despised the typical slicker brush, and I can see why. It scrapes their skin. They absolutely love being brushed with this. When they see me get it out, they come right over to be brushed. The steel pins are smooth, and effective in loosening and removing excess hair. I use the bristle side as a last step to clean up the loosened hair. It’s a good quality item, and just the right size. I’d definitely buy another.

Brush was used
I got this brush for my black cat. When it arrived, it had hair in the bristle side (like from a tabby or torti). I cleaned it and put it in the freezer overnight. I didn’t want to send it back because I had waited so long on it. The product is good but I won’t take the chance of ordering from this seller again. For a short-haired cat with a thick undercoat, this brush is definitely useful.

It collects the hair instead of repelling it like the plastic ones do!
I use to have a wooden pin brush similar to this and I loved it. These plastic ones don't collect the hair so it just goes flying everywhere! I hate that! This Burts Bees brush is the only one I could find that was wood with pins in a flexible pad allowing the pins to move. It collects the hair and it's easy to clean it out. The pins are sturdy and have rounded tips so they don't scratch. My cat's love it! Surprisingly, they love to rub their faces on the pins really hard, over and over again so I have to have a firm grip. They don't like the other side as much and it doesn't get down into the short fur as good as the pin side but is good for finishing off a good brushing. The pins are closer together and offset from each other so it holds on to the fur much better than the plastic brushes. It's a great brush for both short and long haired cats! I do wish they would make one that was a little larger, without the bristle side and without the corners. I get that it looks like honeycomb but a simple oval would be better for the cats. Thanks Burt's bees, for keeping it real with wood! I will never buy another plastic brush again!!!

Good size, can angle the head area well. My cat likes to chew on the bristles. He also allowed me to brush his stomach and closed his eyes when I did so - that's a first. So it's a win from us.

I have lots of brushes for my cats but while initially thinking this was a tad expensive it's really worth it as it's really good quality. the shape is dinky and feels so comfortable to hold and means I can brush my Colette for longer without getting a sore hand!

Like others have said, the bristle side is my cats favourite. The brush doesn't remove much hair with either side, for my short-haired cat anyways. I imagine the bristle side probably mimics that rough tongue feel a bit. My girl probably thinks I'm giving her a bath with it. The other side is nice too, with the rounded tips. She doesn't try to get away from it or anything, but I did hope for that side to help more with any shedding, and I can't say that it does.
