Darice Beveled-Edge Octagon 12 inches Mirror, Gray

I bought this to use as a rear view mirror in my classroom. I teach 6th grade math and as I'm demonstrating how to solve problems I often have my back to my students. I wanted a mirror so that I could watch my students to see if they were actively listening and monitor their behavior. It does a great job. I did wind up propping it on a modified metal book end and securing it with decorative duct tape as it has no fasteners--I assume it is meant to lay flat on a table to reflect candle light or serve as a centerpiece. But it is a great glass mirror with wonderful clarity and serves my purpose as a rear view mirror quite well.

It's oddly shaped--not really a proper octagon. One corner juts out some. Not sure if mine is an outlier or not... If you put it at a certain angle, it's not super noticeable, though at other angles it's very obvious.Also, it doesn't come with any way of hanging it (no holes on the back or anything). I propped it up on two hooks and found an angle where it looks good.Otherwise it's nice (very thin, convenient size--can easily see face, but doesn't take up a lot of space--and the bevel is nice).

good quality and pretty sturdy. I bought it to hang though and it doesn't have anything to hang it with, so I guess its like a vanity or decorative mirror instead. I bought command hooks to stick on the wall so hopefully it holds up.

Beautiful mirror! The pictures don't do it justice! I decided to give this a whirl because I was looking for a mirror tray for my perfumes on my vanity. I wanted something different but modern and sleek and this mirror was the perfect combination with the shape and sleekness of it. It also is a very high quality mirror and it's crystal clear and perfect for my vanity! I would recommend this to everyone and you really can't beat the price and fast shipping!!

I really like the looks of these glass mirrors, but they are so much thinner than some I already have.. I would have added another star, if they had been thicker. They seem very fragile.

A bit thinner than I thought it would be. No scratches like other mirrors I read about. It is a perfect size to put under a vase.

I'm using this as a centerpiece on my dining table and it's the perfect size and shape. It was packaged perfectly so that it would get it in tact.

I wanted to hang it on the wall, it just doesn't have the right look, it's definitely for a table, but itsnice for a table.
