Smart Play - Animal Planet Click and See Projector

I got this for one of my daughters friends who was having surgery. She needed to rest and take it easy for a week or two, and we all know toddlers don’t want to sit still! I was trying to think of something that would keep her entertained without her having to run around. Her mom said this was awesome because they could turn the lights off, lay in her bed, and just point this at the ceiling or wall.

Bought this as a Christmas gift. The colors are vivid and is extremely user friendly for a young child.

It’s just ok. My 2 1/2 yr old son likes that he can switch the images on his own and likes that these are real pictures but you have to hold the flashlight about 3inches from the wall to see the images even then it’s so small my son was disappointed and lost interest because of it. Plus, it doesn’t say Animal Planet anywhere not even on the box that came with it. It only says “click and see” but other than that everything else is the same

My 2 year old grandson loves this! I just wish there were more cartridges with different photos to purchase

I ordered despite the negative reviews. Yes, this is made of a cheap plastic, but this is a great toy for the price and has been used every night since ordering. I will be ordering another as a gift!

Update: After a few hours of playing with this, the lever to switch the images broke. It doesn't slide back up again after you push it down. I could understand if my son played with it rough, but that is not what happened. On the other hand, it is a kids toy and should be able to stand up to it for longer than a few hours. I will be returning this.My toddler loves to play with flashlights, so we decided to look for something like this that would be a little bit more fun for him than a regular flashlight. I originally found a different one, but then it was out of stock, so I ended up getting this one, although there were quite a few reviews saying the disks didn't work for them. I figured I would take a chance, and if anything, I would just return it. It's from Animal planet, so I figured it should be good. My son loves it!! He will look at the pictures all day long and never get bored of it. He even likes that he can switch the images himself.I was a little disappointed when we first tried it because the images were very unclear, unless you held it about 1.5 - 2 feet away from the wall. Obviously kids wouldn't be using it that close very often, and it is for kids, so I figured I would just deal with it. Then I looked at the instructions and saw that it clearly tells you that you can focus the images to get a clearer picture. Once we did that, it was perfect! No matter how far away from the wall you project it, you can still see a crisp image.

My son is one and before we go to bed at night we give him a light show. Explaining to him the different animals in the slides. I don’t know why some people complain about the picture it’s a simple as backing up and adjusting the focus . Great picture and large images !! Love !

This tiny flashlight projector works very well! Pictures are like 3 foot by 2 foot maybe? The other reveiws saying it was blurry aren't twisting the ring around the light, it lets you focus it. I just wish I could buy more slide disks.

A lot of people are complaining that it is only clear when it is small (Iwas the same) BUT you can focus it by turning the yellow plastic part in the front of the flashlight.I bought this for my nephew and he LOVES it. It was a great buy for the price and has a good assortment of animals. I found some more discs on the Smart Play US site but unfortunately not on amazon :(

This item is a little overpriced. It's very small but my son does love it. It is making learning about animals fun. He doesnt understand how to focus the pictures yet (you have to turn thr knob). The pictures are not that big and I find them a little blurry even when in focus.

Smaller than I had expected but a cute little toy none the less :) Doesnt seem like super sturdy plastic but so far its held up. Was a xmas gift for my 3 yr old and he likes it. Wish there were more cards to buy for it.

Great little flashlight and viewfinder! Gave it to my son for Christmas and he loves the animal pictures. The picture clips work great so we don’t loose them. Figured out the the yellow ring around the light is how you focus the picture so it’s great to shine on the ceiling or on things up close. Only downside was that the box came open at both ends and bent but nothing was missing or broken.
