Ant Dust, Ant Powder Killer for Indoors and Outdoors

This ant powder is excellent! It works exceptionally well to eliminate ants both inside the house and around the yard. It's easy to apply, acts fast, and provides great, lasting results. Highly recommended if you want a reliable solution to get rid of ants!

I’ve noticed not many dead bugs in the basement

This stuff is much better than the Terro pellets, which just sit around the affected areas and don't seem to do much at all. I coated down the few colonies I found around the yard this summer and within two days I wasn't seeing them anymore. After a weekly check and subsequently a small collapse of an unmaintained colony, I found it to remain effective at killing the colony. My only complaint is to be careful about the application site because this compound will either discolor or inhibit the grass from growing if applied on it. EDIT (10/1/14): This product does not kill the ants, but will instead irritate them so they do not want to be around it. The colonies I used it on just seemed to be resurfacing in other areas. As I confirmed, the EPA has more restrictions in the chemicals that can be used and these new versions are less effective in order to meet those requirements. I have used instead another remedy that is cheaper to make, but can be more harmful to small animals as well as small children. Borax powder and corn syrup do a wonderful job of killing off most types of Ants. Mix ~50:50 ratio of borax to corn syrup on a small piece of paper or piece of card stock and leave near the paths the ants use. The sugars attract them so they feed and bring the chemical back to the colony, killing the colony in the process. This version only works indoors and should not be used if pets or small animals can access it. For an outdoor remedy, sprinkle a small amount of borax powder at or near the mouth of the colony if visible. If needed, place some in the mouth of the colony and add a few drops of water to disperse the mixture and keep it from being removed from the hole. That produced results noticeable within an hour, compared to 24 hours or so of waiting for the Terro mix to kick in (which was only keeping them from using exits where the powder was placed, not killing them off).

Works but remember to not put it where pets can get to it.

Terro the best ant killer. Only thing I'll buy for ants. The power kills other bugs.

It takes a couple of days to begin working. But im seeing fewer ants outs side finally. I leave my cats dry food on a closed porch overnight. And keeping ants away is difficult. So. I sprinkled around the mat and bowl,,,

Just what I needed to get rid of ants who were tunneling underneath my new paver patio and making mounds of sand in the joints. They definitely either died or were persuaded to move out. Yay! Just one word of caution……the arborvitae next to the patio were affected, turning brown on the side that faced the treated area. Probably my own fault. The bushes survived and are coming back….but not the ants!

Didn’t work for my ant issue. Sprinkled all around the main area the ants were coming from in our planter, I thought it was working because I didn’t see them for a week and got my hopes up! They were back and stronger than ever.

Cause ants to disappear for months. Very effective. Small amount through out the house edges and ants disappear.

I bought it as I expected it’s a good product and will last at least couple of weeks, just 3 days and ants are walking over it
