Will not harm pets, plants and it WORKS!
The BEST mosquito control ever! Very easy to use and it lasts until the next rain. It has a faint garlic smell when you apply it but disappears when it dried. Very cost effective product.

Works great for me. Totally natural. Trees dogs plants people all fine. Mosquitos didnโt make it.
I was unsure with a mix of reviews online and skeptical of the idea that one natural product would work. But it was reasonably priced and believed it wouldnโt hurt our dog, plants, fireflies and other critters we love. And if it works against Dracula itโs gotta work. I bought the smaller bottle and a pump pressure spray separately for $12. Itโs been very hot and muggy for days and days to come, so it was the perfect time to apply. The product comes in a nice sturdy commercial bottle, and is inside a ziplock type bag. Thatโs smart, as any drop or leak will leave a stain of odor, but I was glad to see and smell that the product had muscle to it. Definitely open and mix outdoors, The garlic smell is huge and lingers in your head, and you may think the house will smell like it forever, but it goes away before you know it. Mixed about 3-4 shots of the garlic juice with a gallon of water in the sprayer applicator. (By the way, taking the sprayer apart to clean is essential, but itโs the most garlic intense moments of all. If inside, run the water slowly washing the outside of the sprayer, then fill it up and let it spray out water until empty.) I was ready to apply, so I did. I had the sprayer set to a strong mist, not too misty or wind will just take it away. I just kept it on spray as I walked around the perimeter of backyard. Itโs a mix of bushes, flowers and tall plants. Spray from the ground up otherwise youโll be under a mist of garlic. And the key is to push the applicator through the leaves, turning it to coat 360 around the leaves. It actually starts to be quite fun. I did my entire backyard and went ahead and did the front set of bushes too. I did this at 6:30 pm while mosquitos were out. You want them there to see and be seen by the sprayer. It certainly agitated them, as they came out from everywhere. Wear long stuff at least the first time. Once done with the front, I walked to backyard. It really smelled like intense garlic, neighbors must have thought I was cooking something horrible, but who cares, this benefits them too. After about 1 hour the odor started to dissipate, the mosquitos were less dense but I was still unsure. Next day I got up when mosquitos would be up, around 6am and there was no smell of garlic, trees and grass were alive and well and the dog was clueless. But, mosquitos were there. Product says to do it 2-3 times. I did it again, much faster. Mosquitos agitated but not as many. Good sign. This time I was done in 15 minutes, and kinda fun, familiar smell. Came back from work, my wife was in the backyard with the dog. Both enjoying the time, no garlic smell and she says she hasnโt been bitten at all. I do see a few as I walk around, but am super impressed. I saw it worked, so I was inspired to do another round. Being an expert applicator now, I did it while my wife grilled. Even asked if the steak needed a spritz of garlic...I thought it was funny. Applied, done, ready for dinner. Ate inside. Had dessert in the backyard, no garlic smell, no citronella candles, and zero mosquitos. Fireflies? Yes, plenty. It works for my yard I walk the dog around the block and there are lots of mosquitos, but we come back to our yard and itโs mosquito free. Iโm writing this from my backyard, its been a week and still good, Iโm sure Iโll apply again in a week or two, as I start to miss the garlic mist.

Seems to work on asian tiger mosquitos... if you double the strength. Spray and wait a couple hours.
I used this in my back yard, where, here in the DC area we have vicious asian tiger mosquitos. If you have them, you understand the desperation of trying to get rid of them. If you have children, you understand why I was desperate to find a solution that was definitely not a poison for people. I am not opposed to using pesticides, and I see them as generally very safe. But children are small and have small livers and kidneys, their toxin load comcerns me. Finding this solution is a Godsend. I had to spray it very thoroughly, at DOUBLE the concentration under all shrub foliage and over the grass areas. This is not a super easy application with a simple 2 gallon pump on a 1/4 acre lot. But it was simple andit really seemed to work after a few hours wait. The mosquitos were gone, I maybe saw 1 and it was safe for my daughter to play outside. Before there would be 5 om her in less than a minute. DOWNSIDE: One strong rain and they are back in force. Though this is not too different from other repellent choices. The smell is stromg but goes away in a day. At double strength, it's about $2.00 per application (for a quarter acre) if it doesn't rain it will work for days, a really great price. It's better if you dont have many bushes or shrubs (they hide under the leaves). Keep it in the fridge, sealed in a bag to keep the smell from getting everywhere. Not a cheap solution, but neither are any alternatives other than fogging strong pesticides. I will update after some more uses, (I've used it about 4 times, enough to be reasonably, but not 100% confident that it is working), I promise.

Great results and no chemicals
We have a back patio about 20 yards behind the back of our house that backs up to woods. It's a nice quiet and secluded place to relax or have barbecues, but since it's so close to woods it's been almost unusable due to mosquitoes and gnats unless everyone puts on bug spray, which is a real bummer. Since we have young kids and frequently have other kids over I wanted something natural and without chemicals that would let us reclaim our patio. I read some favorable but mixed reviews on this product and decided to give it a try since I had nothing to lose. I followed the instructions and sprayed all around our backyard patio area and the adjacent woods with my canister sprayer. This included about 8 feet up into the trees, all the bushes and plants, all the ground area, and even the underside and top of our table umbrella. This took about a half hour of spraying and two gallons of spray. I sprayed the evening before a family gathering, and although it did smell like garlic a bit it wasn't that bad, and by the next day it wasn't even noticeable anymore. What was noticeable during our barbecue was the complete lack of pests. Nothing all day and into the evening. It was awesome. That was last year, but I just did the same thing 10 days ago with the same fantastic results. I just walked out there this evening the day after a big rainstorm and still not one gnat or mosquito. Last year I estimate it kept pests away for about three weeks, and so far it seems to be as effective this year. Next time I think I'll try adding some peppermint oil as well, although I can't imagine this working any better than it already does. I wonder if some people who didn't get good results maybe didn't spray their area thoroughly enough as I described above. Anyway, at the very least I'd recommend this as at least being worth a shot.

Absolutely the best thing for her backyard. It keeps the mosquitoes away for at least two months often three depending on how much rain easy to use.

Garbage. Does not work.

Works well. My neighbour has a pool and they normally don't clean it or fill it so my backyard is overwhelmed with mosquitos from the stagnant water. This helps a lot. The smell dissipates after 30 mins and we spray a few hours before guests or our planned use so we can enjoy our yard.

This actually seems to be working in my half acre yard filled with tons of cedar and other spots mosquitos love. Of course itโs not perfect and there are still mosquitos, but Iโm no longer being swarmed in broad daylight. Will be spraying again but Iโm happy with the results.

Seemed to work for a day or two. Better off getting Pounce if you're wanting something more effective and longer lasting. This is good if you want something more environmentally friendly and don't have a large area to treat. If just a backyard it probably is more worth it, but for the cost and effectiveness it's not good for an acreage.
