Deflect-O Galvanized Transition 3-1/4 " X 10 ", 6 ", 6 " Dia

I am enclosing a room with glass and still wanted to use my barbecue. So, I got a commercial range hood that uses a 6 inch round pipe, but my clearance going outside only allowed for a smaller height, so I used a rectangular vent designed for the airflow. This required an adapter from round to rectangular. When I found this product, I ordered it. Here is what i found:1. This is well made, but thin. When assembled though to a pipe and to the outside vent, it stiffens up and does well.2. This fit right into my 6 inch pipe from the hood and right into the rectangular outside vent.3. Airflow is good and by using metal foil tape, there are no air leaks.Great option for a transition in piping.

Worked perfectly - exactly what I needed for an over range microwave vent. Fit is excellent over the microwave outlet and allows the damper to fully open. Quality is good overall and came intact without any dents or damage. Much better than what I found locally at the big box stores.

This is an update to a previous review that I need to amend. In the first review I rated this as a single star because I initially thought my package was never delivered as claimed. The confusion was based on the vendor listing DHL Global something as the shipper (and it had a legitimate tracking number), so I expected a box to be on my porch, and after a bit of research, I found out it was in the hands of USPS. The package was delivered by them in an offsite mailbox. So, based on that confusion I cannot give this transaction a 5 star rating. However, what was delivered was as advertised and it came undamaged even though it was packed as if it was made of stone. It fit my need and installed easily.

Removed a kitchen stove vent hood and replaced it with over-the-stove microwave. Old hood was 6” round outlet but new microwave is 10” rectangular and needed 3” of transition for the flip open vent when fan comes on. This transition piece was perfect to go from the new microwave vent outlet to the old 6” round ducting with the slight offset that is built into this piece.

It’s kinda cheaply made, but let’s be real. It’s a tin duct for a microwave. Didn’t fit perfectly, but it does its job with a little aluminum to seal it.
